HRM001 CASE STUDY ACTIVITY 1

Activity: (30 points)

Find out the reasons that were given to Armie.

The conflict that was shown in the case study is about Armie and Sharon that
are both colleagues and close friends before. It was said that Armie who’s assigned in
finance department had encountered a problem with other staffs and employees inside
their workplace. She also noticed that there wasn’t any equality the way they act
towards her unlike if she’s with Sharon. However, Armie and Sharon have
dissimilarities regarding their attitudes. Sharon is always ready to help others while
Armie can also give help but she doesn’t approach first. Although, it is understandable
because Armie has responsibilities for being in core finance.

The possible reasons that were given to Armie are; First, Mr. Segundo will ask
or order all employees so that the equality and kindness should remain in the
company. It is important to validate and consider the feelings of each employee in a
company to maintain the good relationship whether you are close to each other or not.
Second, employees must know and be aware that being rude to others are restricted in
a company. For instance, a company should not tolerate toxic attitudes of employees.
Treating without equality is also part of discrimination and it is not tolerable. Last,
Sharon apprise the other employees to apologize to what they have done to Armie.
