Core values are the fundamental beliefs of a person or organization. These guiding


principles dictate behavior and can help people understand the difference between right
and wrong. Core values also help companies to determine if they are on the right path
and fulfilling their goals by creating an unwavering guide.

As Dalubcenians, we are encouraged to work harmoniously with the people


around us and we are guided by the Mission, Vision and Core Values of our institution.
But as an individual, you also have a personal core values which dictate your behavior
and guide you to make the decisions that you do.

The following instruction pertains to values exercises. This aims to understand


your core values that you believe are important in the way you live and work.

Instruction.

1. Determine your core values. From the list below, choose and write down every core
value that resonates with you. Do not overthink your selections. As you read through the
list, simply write down the words that feel like a core value to you personally. If you think
of a value you possess that is not on the list, be sure to write it down as well.
