Position: General Hands x 6

Location: Victoria Falls International Airport

Reports To: Terminal and Grounds Supervisor

Fixed term contract 01 April 2022- 31 December 2022

Job Purpose: The position exists to ensure safety and cleanliness of the Airport grounds,
Apron and Airfield to provide a good and safe working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Clear bushes and grass cutting around the airport grounds and airfield.
 Clear obstacles on the airfield.
 Maintain apron, runway and taxiway.
 Paint markings and signs around the airport.
 Clear drainages.
 Repair airport perimeter fence.
 Ensure that all waste is segregated and safely disposed.
 Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Minimum Hiring Standards:

Education:

 At least 5 “O” Levels

Experience:

 One year post-secondary school work experience

Other requirements and competences:

 Must be physically fit

  Flair for cleanliness
 Trustworthy
 Customer Care
