REPORT OF ANALYSIS
I. Test Description
As-received chalk sample, labeled as Chalk Sample, was submitted for element content
analysis using Bruker S1 TITAN 800 handheld X-Ray Fluorescence (HXRF) as shown in Figure
1. It was conducted using the XRF parameters listed in the table below.

The summarized results of the XRF test for as-received Chalk Sample are presented in Table
2. The results displayed are averaged from three (3) measurements indicating the elemental
concentrations and standard deviations in percent weight (% wt.) – sorted from highest to lowest
concentration.
Based from the HXRF test results, the Chalk Sample is composed primarily of 33.863%
calcium (Ca), 3.002% aluminum (Al), 1.565% silicon oxide (SiO2), and trace amounts of other
metallic elements.
