1. Why is it important to have responsibility skills?

We often find ourselves overwhelmed with a task which we joyfully accepted and seemed hopeful to finish
within the given deadline. But often it happens that we fail in accomplishing the particular task. What happens
after is that we go on seeking reasons and excuses to detach ourselves from the moral responsibilities of
getting the job done.

This is basic human nature, We tend to avoid conflict, even if it means sacrificing morality in the form of
blaming unrelated causes for our failure. Let us delve deeper into the facts that will help us transition into
better human beings by morally guiding ourselves and learning about the moral implications of our
irresponsibility.

Some of the traits of a responsible person can resonate with them on a personal level and guide them
throughout their life. Such traits of a responsible person can be directly responsible for building excellent
work ethic, communication skills, and courage. Let us take a look at these traits.

Life is a sinusoidal wave with ups and downs, accepting the responsibility for every action that
takes your life through the consequent troughs and crests is the fundamental makeup of an ideal
responsible person.

2. What are the goal of social mobilization?

Social mobilization aims at empowering individuals and communities to identify their needs, their
rights, and their responsibilities, change their ideas and beliefs and organize the human, material,
financial and other resources required for socioeconomic development.

Social mobilization is the process of bringing together all possible intersectoral partners and allies
to participate in development programmers. It builds on the contribution of technical experts, and
emphasizes the capabilities and roles of social allies and partners including community members.

 Key actors in social mobilization may include heads of state, government ministries and
parastatals, the donor community, civil society(including religious organizations, community-based
organizations, nongovernmental organizations),political and traditional leaders, families and
individuals at all levels, especially the global, national and district levels.

3. What are the role of communication in social mobilization?

Communication should be the important part of the development plan and mobilizing the
community because its main objective is to create systems, modes and strategies that could provide
opportunities for the people to understand the development project easily and they can get
maximum benefits from the development
Component 5 of the Stop TB Strategy urges enhancement of ACSM at country level to improve
case detection and treatment adherence, to combat stigma and discrimination, to empower people
affected by TB, to mobilize political commitment and resources for TB control, and to institute
social change and poverty reduction required for long-term control and elimination of TB. Many of
the global ACSM approaches have focused, quite successfully, on mobilizing resources and
strengthening political and governmental commitment. However, there is an urgent need to
intensify communication efforts and to foster the broader engagement of civil society in control and
elimination of TB 

Increasingly, ACSM strategies contain a monitoring and evaluation mechanism that is critical to
building a stronger evidence base for measuring process, output and impact of ACSM strategies for
TB control. NTP staff are encouraged to develop a qualitative and quantitative monitoring and
evaluation strategy for ACSM activities.
