ABSTRACT

Face to face learning method vs. Modular learning method became one of the most used tool to ease
one’s stress or anxiety since the issue on lockdown. Face to face learning engagement of students and
teachers within the school has been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But even in face to face
learning approach, these platforms already had an impact to the progress in the academic performance of
the students. In this study, the researchers found out that negative and positive impact are equipoise. Only
that time, the allotment of each grade 11 Humanities and Social Science students are alarming. Students
spends more hours in using social media platforms rather than doing their academic stuffs. Also this study
will give the parents and the teachers’ information and insights about the impact of face to face vs.
modular learning method. It will be then that the parents and the teachers will find out what they need to
adjust in the usage of social media of their students. The key purpose of this research is to find out the
challenges encountered, opinions, and recommendations of teachers, parents, and students in the
implementation of modular and face to face learning method in Naguilian National High School.
