Because learning will be done mostly at home, online and limited Face to
face, students will be exposed and be vulnerable to several risks that have
not been contemplated before. This webinar will discuss relevant issues on
child protection policy in light of the new normal. It will refresh school
leaders and teachers and will orient parents on Child Protection Policy of
the Department of Education. It will also discuss the risks and
vulnerabilities of children while learning this new normal and how school
leaders, teachers, and parents can safeguard the students and teachers to
address these threats.
The participants, the teachers, and school leaders should understand the
principle under the legal aspects of the foundation of the teachers in
connection with the webinar’s objectives which are to focus on the DepEd's
Responsiveness to the Child Protection Policy: Equipping Teachers with
the knowledge on how to better protect themselves when facing
