Conclusion

Decision-making is a critical component of business. Some decisions are obvious

and can be made quickly, without investing much time and effort in the decision-
making process. Others, however, require substantial consideration of the
circumstances surrounding the decision, available alternatives, and potential
outcomes

Our group conclusion about this case is no matter what degree you finish as long
as you experience different situation as a professional somehow you will adapt and
learn how to deal with such difficult decisions in your workplace

And as HR manager there is instances that you will encounter difficult problems
and as you apply all the learnings that you had adapted then you easily come up
with a wise decision that cannot affect you and others.

We therefore conclude that Mr. Rod Santos is not wise as he is dealing with that
situation and as a result a lot of employees resigned.

Recommendation

Sustainability is often defined as the “ability to meet the needs of the present
without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

Sustainability and Decision-Making practice pervade every aspect of doing business

and needs to be embedded across an organization at all levels, becoming an
ongoing change process. Since the prime focus and skills of HR professionals
include organizational process, change management and culture stewardship, they
should take a leading role in developing and implementing sustainability and
decision-making strategy

Employees often assume that the HR staff is there to administer benefits, process
payroll (sometimes), and to resolve complaints within the organization and about
the organization. Also, these things are often true. However, the catch is, HR
representatives also must protect the organization and have to report to managers
of the organization, too. As such, it can be a very fine line: employee needs and
frustrations may be in direct or indirect conflict with the organization’s needs.
