A. DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILE

The Police Regional Office (PRO) 11-Regional Women and Children


Protection Desk (RWCPD), a section of the Regional Investigation and Detective
Management Division (RIDMD) is located in front of the Regional Medical and Dental
Unit (RMDU) 11, Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecido, Buhangin, Davao City.

The said office was upgraded into a Shelter for Abused Women and Children
through the active support of the Rotary Club of Downtown Davao and Rotary Club
of Rotary International District 3600 South Korea. A structure was donated by the
said organizations on November 27, 2017, purposely to cater abused women and
children

Subsequently, the back portion of the said office/shelter was likewise made
into a Shelter Playground and Multipurpose Hall, through the generous officers of
PMA Sinagtala Class ’86 led by then C, PNP PDG RONALD M DELA ROSA. It is
where WCPD conferences, seminars and trainings were conducted.

PRO 11 has a total of One Thousand three Hundred Fifty Three (1,353)
policewomen as of May 15, 2018, Fifty Nine (59) of which are Police Commissioned
Officers (PCOs) and One Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Four (1,294) are Police
Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs). Among that, One Hundred Ninety Nine (199)
are designated as WCPD investigators.

B. INTER-AGENCY LINKAGES

Pursuant to its mandate, RWCPD 11 maintains close relationship with the


following agencies/committees:
1. Inter-Agency Council against Trafficking (IACAT) XI;
2. Regional Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council ) RJJWC) XI;
3. Regional Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children (RSCWC) XI;
4. Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD);
5. Southern Philippines Medical Center- Women and Children Protection Unit
(SPMC-WCPU);

C. BEST PRACTICES

FOR RWCPD:

1. Shelter for Abused Women and Children


The Shelter for Abused Women and Children was donated by the Rotary
Club of Downtown Davao and Rotary Club of Rotary International District 3600
South Korea on November 27, 2014 to cater abused women and children. At
present, one female personality who voluntarily surrendered to PBGEN FILMORE B
ESCOBAL, Regional Director, PRO 11 is temporarily in house while waiting for the
approval of her Witness Protection Program (WPP) from the Department of Justice
(DOJ).
2. Creation of Quick Response Team (QRT)
The Quick Response Team was formed on December 27, 2013 to
immediately respond to cases reported to the office and conduct police operations in
relation thereto. It is headed by the Chief, RIDMD as the Over-all Supervisor and the
Chief, RWCPD as Team Leader.

FOR DSPPO:

1. Adopt A School Project of Digos City Police Station


It started in the year 2009 when Digos City Police Station then through its
cooperative, the BAKADECO was encouraged to expand their social obligation as
mandated by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) through the conduct of
community works and other social services. With that idea, the proposal to “adopt a
school project” and to help the less-fortunate and indigent students in their
educational needs came into the picture.

2. Hagonoy Junior Police of Hagonoy Municipal Police Station


The Hagonoy MPS have long been active in monitoring 24 schools, both
elementary and high school especially Hagonoy Central Elementary School where
several cases of bullying and gansterism has been reported. This project will also
support the existing Executive Order No 73 Series of 2010 “Reorganizing and
strengthening of the Municipal Council for the protection of Children (MCPC)
corporating thereat Early Childhood Care and Development Coordinating Committee
(ECCDCC)”- in which the Chief of Police of Hagonoy Municipal Police Station is a
member of its council.

3. Kapit Bisig ng PNP at DepEd Alternative Learning System- Kiblawan


Municipal Police Station

The Kapit Bisig ng PNP at DepEd Alternative Learning System (ALS) is


supported by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Kiblawan, Davao del Sur and
Department of Education. The project was created to serve the indigenous persons
particularly children of the B’laan tribe of Barangay Kimlawis, Kiblawan, Davao del
Sur. It is conducted every Saturday on Adult Basic Literacy, Accreditation and
Equivalency (A and E) Program for Elementary and Secondary levels.

FOR DCPO:

1. Awarding of Newly Built House


On March 24, 2021, DCPO-WCPD/FJGAD led by PMAJ ELISA C
RAMIREZ, Chief WCPD & PMAJ GILLIAN ROSE BIRONDO, Chief FJGAD, RPSB
Cluster 7 under the lead of PLT MARLON DONQUILAB, PS10 SCAD/WCPD,
together with Calinan District and Brgy CSWDO led by SW Riza Ibañez, and Brgy
Councils spearheaded by Brgy Captain Nicanor Pepito, properly turned over the
newly built house to the chosen less fortunate family with identified children in risk
situation. Financial assistance, school supplies and toys from DCPO were also given
to the family. Said activity held was at Barangay Lamanan, Calinan, Davao City.
2. Consultative Meeting
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of our lives, not only
how we work, live and learn but most importantly the risk against abuse. The
situation of crisis produced by this pandemic poses major challenges to societies all
over the world. While efforts to contain the virus are vital to protect global health,
these same efforts are exposing children and women to an increase risk of family
violence.

Due to the required social isolation, an increase statistics of abuses were


committed at the abode by the family members, thus, Davao City Police Office
through the Women and Children Protection Desk initiated the inter-agency
coordination and consultation through the conduct of consultative meeting with the
barangay officials and barangay functionaries.

Out of 182 barangays of Davao City, WCPD personnel were able to visit
and conduct consultative meeting to 18 barangays, which were identified with most
number of rape cases.

3. Oplan: Sagop Kabataan


This program aims to create holistic and integrated approach to reduce
crimes involving children and victims of abuses involving also children, to make
stronger police-community relation by strengthening the partnership in making the
communities safer place to live and enhance the shared responsibilities of
maintaining the same; to prevent crime groups from exploiting juvenile delinquents;
to minimize if not eradicate the involvement of children in risky or criminal activities;
and to minimize if not prevent children from being victims of crime and of abuses
specifically on sexual and physical abuse.

This program was launched last November 27, 2017 at Royal Mandaya
Hotel, Davao City.

For the period covered: July 2020 to July 2021, a total of 4,854 rescued
children, 3,450 of which were male and 1,404 were female.

4. Help a Child and Educate a Child- Police Station 1 (Sta Ana) and
Police Station 2 (San Pedro), DCPO
This project is initiated because of the presence of street crimes, presence of
unwanted circumstances and increasing presence of Children in Conflict with the
Law (CICL) and delinquent children. Through strategically involved the youth and
minors into free education, intensify the activities against juvenile delinquency in
coordination with EMAR Human & Environmental College and Barangay 76-A.
It includes the rescue of minors in coordination with LGU and CSSDO so as to
decrease crime involvement among them.
5. Kean Gabriel Hotline- DCPO WCPD Main and the City Government of
Davao
The name of the hotline is dedicated in memory of Kean Gabriel, a three
year old boy in Matina Pangi, Davao City who suffered abuses from his own parent
and guardian. Sometime in 2016, Kean was beaten, placed inside the sack and
positioned on top of the cabinet and there fell off many times. After this incident, the
child suffered hemorrhage which caused to his instantaneous death. Both his
stepfather and biological mother were thereafter apprehended and imprisoned for
child abuse case indicted against them.

Thus, the hotline was established to make available immediate


intervention by providing a 24-hour facility to provide immediate assistance to all
types and forms of child abuse. It was launched on October 29, 2016, the 40 th day of
Kean’s death.

6. Adopt a Child: Save a Child Program- Police Station 3 (Talomo),


DCPO
In 2011, Talomo Police Station, DCPO initiated the “Adopt a Child: Save a
Child” program that has garnered national accolade. With the existing and continuing
impact project and in coordination with EMAR Learning Center High School and
Human Environmental Colleges, Inc., the station was able to send out-of-school
youths, children-at-risk and children in conflict with the law to school for free and had
produced number of graduates already in secondary education. This time, the station
now embarks to acknowledge the need to reach out to the poorest children with the
objective to break the poverty cycle for them.

Due to pandemic, the school is using the Online Method of teaching with
140 beneficiaries completed for the SY 2020 – 2021.

7. Turned-over of Scholarship Voucher from Rotary Club of Downtown


Davao

The Rotary Club of Downtown Davao turned-over the 100 scholarship


voucher to Davao City Police Office headed by PCOL KIRBY JOHN B. KRAFT. This
scholarship program of the RCDD is in line with Basic Education and Literacy
Program and Peace and Conflict Prevention and Resolution.
The ceremony was headed by President Myla P. Cocon-Agustin together with
the Downtowners, Past Assistant Governor/Past President Rozanne C. Gamboa,
Past District Chair for Peace and Conflict Prevention and Resolution/PGen/Rtn
Archie Francisco Gamboa, Rtn. Alstair Tecarro, Rtn Fely Lovitos, Rtn Anthony
Modequillo and Honorary Member Ringo Tagalog and witnessed by District Governor
Rodel Riezl SJ Reyes together with District Grant Subcommittee chair Vincent
Edward Ang.

For DOPPO:

1. “iCARE" PROGRAM- Caraga Municipal Police Station

Involvement of Couple and Relationship Empowerment (iCARE) is adopted as


Best Practice of Caraga Municipal Police station since January 2014. This activity
aims
to promote gender equality and reduction of gender-based violence particularly RA
9262 and to address the prevalent violence committed against women, promoting
parental and mutual respect and fidelity with each other. This activity is also
designed to strengthen the relationship of the couple who are applying for marriage
license. Pre-marriage seminar with the PNP is considered as a pre-requisite in
securing the marriage license in order to educate the applicants on the different laws
concerning women and children.

For DNPPO:

1. SBQAT: “Sagop Bata Quick Action Team” of Tagum City-Tagum CPS

“Sagop Bata Quick Action Team” of Tagum City is compose of PNP-


Tagum, Security Management Office (SMO), City Social Welfare and Development
Office (CSWDO), Special Task Group Tagum’s Finest (STGTF) and City Business
Permit and License Office (CBPLO) who will visit internet café/establishment within
the AOR to ensure that no minors violated the City Ordinance No. 342, S-2009 or the
“Revised Internet Ordinance of Tagum City” and further ensure that no minors were
being employed in different establishments.

2. WCPD Child-Friendly Pink Patrol Car-Sto. Tomas MPS

This new Pink Patrol Car will serve as the transportation means during regular
patrols of the WCPD personnel, rescue operations and police assistance as well as
to responds to incidents involving women and children. This is through the
benevolence of one of the stakeholders of this municipality and who happened to be
a member of MAC.

Pink Patrol Car, is a friendly vehicle towards saving lives and protecting the
women and children from abuse and danger. The Pink patrol Car will be of 24/7
service particularly in providing assistance to victims of domestic violence, child
abuse and CICL. This is also utilized in filing of cases, removing the victims from one
place to another in case they intend to, transporting minors to their respective
residence who violated the Curfew Hours in relation to Municipal Ordinance No. 005
and other numerous operational and administrative functions.

Further, said project earned praises and recognition by other national


government agencies like the Commission on Human Rights, Regional Juvenile
Justice Welfare Council of Region XI, National Police Commission during their visit
and inspection. Nevertheless, this symbolized the strong and resilient campaign
against abuse and exploitation among women and children and to help our CICL to
go back in the community as renewed individual, helping our society a peaceful
place to live.

ACTUAL PERSONNEL STRENGTH

Police Regional Office 11 has a total of One Thousand three Hundred Fifty
Three (1,353) policewomen as of August 31, 2021, One Hundred Ninety-Nine
(199) of which are designated as WCPD Officers.

LOGISTICAL ASSETS

With the construction of the Shelter for Abused Women and Children in the
year 2014, RWCPD has widened its functions to include the needs required for the
operation of the said shelter. It has (6) rooms which are used as follows:

1. Play Area/Interview Room;


2. Office of the C, RWCPD;
3. Staff Room/Working Area;
4. Male Room (for male victims) with one (1) double-decked bed;
5. Female Room (for female victims) with one (1) double-decked bed; and
6. Kitchen.

Aside from the above rooms, it has also a shower room and a comfort room.
The back of the shelter was made into a Shelter Playground/Multi-Purpose Hall.

In order to fully function as mandated by RA 8551, RWCPD is equipped with

1. Operational Accomplishments

a. Entrapment Operation on RA 9208 (Davao City)

On February 18, 2020 at about 4:30 PM, personnel from Regional


Investigation and Detective and Management Division (RIDMD) led by PMAJ
JACQUELINE A ANTERO, Chief RWCPD, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL
GIUSSEPPE A GERALDE, OIC RIDMD, in coordination with 11 th RMFB and Police
Station 2-DCPO, jointly conducted an entrapment operation in front of L & J Tan Law
Firm Associates Office located at Leonicor Bldg., Magallanes Street, Davao City,
particularly at the back of Grand Menseng Hotel.

The said entrapment operation resulted in the arrest of ARNOLD LEE


PIANG, 49 years old, widow, Maguindanaon tribe, a native of Sampaguita Street,
Buluan, Maguindanao, and a resident of Purok 17, Datu Loho Village, Ma-a, Davao
City and PSSg Khrist Mark Javier Manulat, 35 years old, married, member of the
Philippine National Police (PNP) and a resident of Bacalso Compound, Ulas, Davao
City.

The aforementioned persons were caught in the act of influencing and


offering the amount of One Hundred Thousand (P100,000.00) Pesos as settlement
and facilitating the execution of the Affidavit of Desistance of Carrie Panday Andres,
18 years old, single, Grade 9 student of Sta. Ana National High School, a resident of
San Isidro, Catonggan, Brgy. 76-A, Davao City, and the complainant in criminal
cases filed against one (1) AYAH LEE MACASINDIL, docketed as NPS Docket No.
XI-02-INV-18-K-4533 and NPS Docket No. XI-02-INV-18-K-4534 for violation of
Republic Act No. 9208 as amended by Republic Act No. 10364 (Expanded Anti-
Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012) and Republic Act No. 7610 (Anti-Child Abuse
Act), respectively, pending before the Davao City Prosecution Office, Hall of Justice,
Ecoland, Davao City.

Recovered from the possession of the said arrested persons were the
following items:

From ARNOLD LEE PIANG-


a. one piece pink envelope containing an Affidavit of Desistance
with masking tape and marked as GIT;
b. one piece brown wrapped envelope with masking tape and
marked as GIT-1, containing an amount of Fifty Thousand
(P50,000.00) Pesos in 100 peso bill;
c. one bundle of cash amounting to P30,000.00 in one hundred
peso bill and marked as GIT-2;
d. two units Oppo cellular phones with markings GIT-3 and GIT-
4; and
e. one unit White Isuzu Crosswind.
From PSSg KRIST MARK JAVIER MANULAT-
a. .9mm caliber pistol, Glock 17 issued firearm bearing Serial
No. PNP18962 and marked as JAA;
b. one piece magazine and marked as JAA-1;
c. 15 pieces .9mm caliber live ammunition and marked as JAA-
2;

d. one modified tactical knife and marked as JAA-3; and


e. Oppo cellular phone and marked as JAA-4.

b. Rescue of 13 indigenous people minors in University of San


Carlos, Talamban, Cebu City.

On September 2018, the following minor victims were fetched in Sitio


Kamingawan, Brgy. Palma Gil, Talaingod, Davao del Norte to wit: Lorna Manggontoy
Sambiyang, Editha Ilayao Olayan, Enanggom Ilayao Mandacawan, Mario Makunos
Mandacawan, Susay Ilayao Bay-ao, Melon Tikloy Moya, Inday Sambiyang Dausay,
May-May Sambiyang Anlomon, Antipas Doma Suladlaron, Rose Akin Ilayao, Botigon
and Tikloy Mandacawan, all residents of Sitio Kamingawan, Brgy. Palma Gil,
Talaingod, Davao del Norte.

The said victims were transported to Cebu via bus and they were used
and exploited in various rallies and other public assemblies. They were obliged to
hold placards and were ordered to shout invaded words against the government.

On February 15, 2021, the victims were rescued by the composite team
of Police Regional Office 11, Police Regional Office 7 and Social Worker of
Municipality of Talaingod, Davao del Norte.

After the said rescue operation, Police Regional Office 11, through the
Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division together with the
Regional Women and Children Protection Desk Section conducted series of case
conference in connection with the aforementioned incident.

On May 29, 2021, a special investigating team led by PMAJ


ANJANETTE P TIRADOR of DNPPO together Provincial Women and Children
Protection Desk Investigators was organized. Said team conducted series of
interviews to potential witnesses in the different places in Davao Region. Deeper
investigation revealed that there was a criminal design orchestrated by the SOS
(Save our School) networks, UCCP Haran, MISFI, Salugpongan and other left
learning organization involved in Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) activities.

The investigation resulted to a clear manifestation in the commission of


the crime of Human Trafficking in Persons punishable under RA 9208 as amended
by RA 10364.
After the conduct of investigation and interview with the victims, a
criminal case for violation of RA 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2008) as
amended by RA 10364 (Expanded Anti-Human Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012)
was filed before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor with docket NPS XI-INV-21G-
00208 by Atty. Grazielynne C. Corpuz, Associate Provincial Prosecutor, Mankilam,
Tagum City, Davao del Norte on July 28, 2021 against the following persons to wit:

2. Community Relations

8. IACAT (Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking) NETWORK


REGION XI

Police Regional Office 11 is an active partner/member of the Inter-Agency


Council Against Trafficking-Region XI (IACAT XI), along with other law enforcement
agencies to address trafficking in persons cases and strengthen regional cooperation
to neutralize international syndicates and organized crime groups. A Regional Anti-
Trafficking Task Group was likewise created to conduct an effective and efficient
campaign and advocacy against all forms of trafficking in person. A close
coordination with various law enforcement agencies both foreign and domestics,
NGOs and other concerned government agencies within the region and nationwide
was and will be strongly established.

9. Southern Philippines Medical Center-Women and Children


Protection Unit (SPMC-WCPU)

Pursuant to a Memorandum of Agreement, PRO 11 entered into partnership


with Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), a government institution created
and operated under the Department of Health with address located at J.P. Laurel
Avenue, Bajada, Davao City, with the primary aim of providing competent and
thorough medical care to abused women and children at risk. Both agencies
collectively work to establish a “ONE-STOP SHOP” facility.

10. Seventh Day Adventist “Ang Imong Katungod” Radio Program

Seventh Day Adventist Church sponsored a radio program entitled “Ang


Imong Katungod” in partnership with RWCPD. It is a weekly live radio program which
also streams live in facebook, targeting viewers around the world. It advocates the
rights of women and children as well as all other rights. PCMS Ruth Theresa G
Castillones of DOPPO and PMSg Charito P Berico of RWCPD, regularly co-hosts
the said program.
11. Regional Juvenile Justice Welfare Committee (RJJWC) XI

The Police Regional Office 11 plays integral part in the implementation of the
Republic Act 9344 as amended by Republic Act 10630. The Regional Women and
Children Protection Desk, as a law enforcement body, is mandated to implement the
said special law, most specifically in the handling of cases involving Children at Risk
(CAR) and Children In-Conflict with the Law (CICL). This office regularly attends the
bimonthly meetings to create a strong collaboration with the members of the
committee as spearheaded by DSWD in order to meet the necessary services to the
youth.

12. Regional Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children (RSCWC) XI

RWCPD actively supports the programs of the Council for the Welfare of
Children (CSW), Regional Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children and regularly
attends to the Quarterly Meetings initiated by the committee to address issues and
formulate programs for the welfare of children.

Police Regional Office 11, through the Regional Women and Children
Protection Desk Office actively participated and supports the Regional Gender and
Development Committee (RGADC) in order to address the issues concerning
women and children and to deliver the services necessary to victims of abuse.

1. Medalya ng Kasanayan
The Regional Women and Children Protection Desk 11 was adjudged as
the Best Women and Children Protection Desk for the year 2015. Thus, on
February 6, 2017, a Medalya ng Kasanayan covered by General Order No. 162 was
awarded to personnel of RWCPD.

2. Medalya ng Papuri
Likewise, pursuant to General Order No. 214 dated March 4, 2016, a
Medalya ng Papuri was awarded to personnel of RIDMD including RWCPD for the
efficiency in handling cases to prosecute suspects and strengthen investigation of
crimes. The proficiency of RIDMD has resolved eighty one (81) administrative cases.
Out of 29 cases on trafficking in persons, 25 of which were filed in court. It has also
facilitated various seminars/workshops to further develop investigative skills which
includes the Twelve-Day Specialized Course for WCPD Officers and Anti-Illegal
Drugs Operation and Investigation.

3. Ten Outstanding Policewomen of the Philippines (TOPWP)


PSI ANJANETTE TIRADOR, Chief WCPD of Tagum City Police Office,
Davao del Norte Police Provincial Office was among the recipients of the Ten
Outstanding Policewomen of the Philippines (TOPWP) on October 12, 2016 at
Multipurpose Center, Camp Crame, Quezon City

PSI ROWENA M JACOSALEM, Chief WCPD of Sto. Tomas Municipal
Police Station, Davao del Norte Police Provincial Office was awarded as one of the
Ten Outstanding Policemen of Davao del Norte on February 3, 2017 at Marangal
Hall, DNPPO, Davao del Norte.

PO2 Paciano Ramirez, Male Investigator of Talaingod Municipal Police
Station, Davao del Norte Police Provincial Office was likewise awarded as one of the
Ten Outstanding Policemen of Davao del Norte on February 3, 2017 at Marangal
Hall, DNPPO, Davao del Norte.

6. LGU Davao City Special Award


PO2 Michaelangela Daquiado, who is also a registered nurse was
awarded by LGU Davao at Royal Mandaya Hotel on March 13, 2017 for assisting a
woman in giving birth inside the patrol car on February 20, 2017.

7. Metrobank Foundation- Outstanding Filipinos 2017 Awardee


SPO1 Shiela May S. Pansoy, a WCPD Investigator of Hagonoy Municipal
Police Station, Davao del Sur was dubbed as “Davao del Sur’s Anti-Abuse Herald”.
She was chosen as one of the Outstanding Filipinos for 2017 by Metrobank
Foundation.

Activities
The Regional Women and Children Protection Desk accomplished other
equally significant activities for the year 2017 which evidently shows its enthusiasm
towards the attainment of its goals. Among the said activities are as follows:

1. Case Conference on Cebu-Talaingod Case- PMAJ JACQUELINE A


ANTERO, Chief, RWCPD assisted the parents of 13 IP victims of Cebu-
Talaingod case in taking the necessary documents to support their
affidavit and signing of the manifestation.

2. Blessing and Inauguration of RWCPD Shelter Playground- held on


March 10, 2017 at RWCPD Shelter Playground. PDG RONALD M DELA
ROSA, then C, PNP graced the said activity as Guest of Honor and
Speaker.

3. Pragmatic Action Accelerate Gender Parity Seminar for PNP-WCPD


and NAPOLCOM XI- The said activity was attended by WCPD personnel
from different police stations of Davao City Police Office and personnel
from RWCPD. It was conducted by NAPOLCOM XI on March 14, 2017 at
NAPOLCOM Regional Office XI, San Pedro Street. Davao City.

4. Conduct of 3rd Lady Investigators’ Olympics- participated by selected


lady investigators and was held on March 23, 2017 at PRO 11
Grandstand, Camp Quintin M Merecido, Buhangin, Davao City.

14. Roll-out Training on the Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) on


Trafficking in Persons (TIP)- held on June 27-28, 2017 at Makati City

15. Unveiling of Marking and Turn-over Ceremony of RWCPD Shelter and


Playground Facilities- PMA Sinagtala “86 led by PDDG ARCHIE
FRANCISCO F GAMBOA, PDIR RAMON O PURRUGANAN and Mrs.
Rozanne “Twinkle” Gamboa, President the Rotary Club of Downtown
Davao graced the said event which was held on July 14, 2018 at RWCPD
Shelter Playground, Camp Quintin M Merecido, Davao City.

16. Data Registry Roll-out- conducted by RJJWC on August 20, 2017 to


September 1, 2017 at Marco Polo, Davao City. It was attended by PCI
JACQUELINE A ANTERO, then Chief RWCPD and PO2 Angela Lancian,
RWPCD Statistician.

17. Multi-Disciplinary Training on Handling Online Sexual Abuse and


Exploitation of Children- held on September 27-29, 2017 at Eden Nature
Park and Resort . It was attended by PSUPT ERIC G DAMPAL, Acting
Chief, RIDMD and PO2 Jo Ann A Albores, RWCPD Investigator.
18. Ako Para sa Bata, The International Conference in Manila- SPO2 Ruth
Theresa G Castillones, PO2 Jo Ann A Albores and PO2 Angela G
Lancian, all personnel of RWCPD 11 attended the said conference on
November 30, 2017 to December 1, 2017 at SMX Convention Center,
Manila.

19. ASEAN Training Program on Trafficking in Persons for Frontline Law


Enforcement Officers- PSI ROWENA JACOSALEM, Chief WCPD of
CVPPO attended the said training on January 8-12, 2018 at PNPTS,
Camp Crame, Quezon City.

20. Seminar in Preventing and Responding to Victims of Trafficking and


other Forms of Sexual Abuse on women and Children- PSI KRISTINE
M MIRANA, Chief RWCPD, together with SPO3 Mary Clarito, TIP PNCO
and PO2 Jo Ann Albores, RWCPD Investigator, attended the said seminar
on March 6-9, 2018 at La Charica Inn, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

21. Orientation on RA 9344 as Amended by RA 10630 and CLJIP/Sit.An


Writeshop- PSI KRISTINE M MIRANA, Chief RWCPD, together with
SPO3 Mary Clarito, TIP PNCO, PO2 Jo Ann Albores, RWCPD Investigator
and PO2 Angela G Lancian, attended the said orientation on March 26-28,
2018 at Apo View Hotel, Davao City

22. Conduct of Case Monitoring (Comparative Statistics of Data between


1st Quarter of CY 2017 and 1st Quarter of CY 2018)- RWCPD 11
conducted a case monitoring on April 16, 2018 at PRO11 Officers’
Clubhouse, Camp Quintin M Merecido, Davao City. All Chiefs, PWCPD
presented GBV incidents/cases for the said period. They also raised some
issues and concerns.

23. Orientation on the Registry for CAR and CICL- PSI KRISTINE M
MIRANA, Chief RWCPD, together with SPO3 Mary Clarito, TIP PNCO and
PO2 Jo Ann Albores, RWCPD Investigator, attended the said orientation
on April 19-20, 2018 at Apo View Hotel, Davao City.

The abovementioned activities are just few of the numerous activities that
were conducted by/participated to by this office.
