The resistance data are based on nitrocellulose and vinyl ketone prints on prelacquered aluminum foil.
The printed wet film thickness was 12 µm and contained 5% Orasol® dye in a binder ratio 1:3.
Bleeding resistance was determined in accordance with DIN 16524-BL-1 for water tests; DIN 16524-BL-2 for lactic acid and soap tests; DIN 16524-BL-3 for cheese curd,
butter, and paraffin wax tests. The corresponding ISO –Norms were also used (ISO 105-A03, 1988 AND ISO 105-A02, 1988).

Light fastness
Light fastness is an important factor in dye selection. Although the method of
determination is specified in various standards, the figures given by different dye Light fastness rating 8 = Outstanding 7 = Excellent 6 = Very good 5 = Good

The reason for this is that the method of preparing The vehicle may also have a considerable effect: Light fastness

Light fastness is tested according to ISO 2835-64/ISO 12040-97 against the 1-8 Blue Wool scale. The sample is exposed to step 3 on the ISO Gray scale whose change in
shade coincides with that of the sample.
