Additional Activities
Software Developer

The career path I want to take is being a software developer. Earning a computer science
bachelor's degree is one of the steps I should take to make my goal a reality. Software developers
create software programs that allow users to perform specific tasks on various devices, such as
computers or mobile devices. They are responsible for the entire development, testing, and
maintenance of software. Software developers must have the technical creativity required to solve
problems uniquely. They need to be fluent in the computer languages that are used to write the
code for programs.

There are many factors that influenced my career decisions. One of them is my interest in
computer software, because of the growth of computer power has brought miraculous
breakthroughs in hardware and software, which have in turn changed global behavior and culture.
The second aspect is that my family encourages me to pursue this career path; they feel it is a good
fit for me because I am a computer fanatic. It also worked inside my family's budget. The second
consideration is academic; I am now an NCII computer system servicing holder. That is why I want
to pursue a profession in computer science.

I realized that choosing an appropriate career path is perhaps one of the most important
decisions in life. A wrong decision may lead to dissatisfaction, frustration, and a lack of interest and
enthusiasm towards work. A right decision, on the other hand, can lead to happiness, satisfaction,
and a sense of joy and excitement towards work. Despite the importance of the decision, many
times, for various reasons, I do not put too much thought into it as required while choosing a
career. I tend to choose a career not on the basis of appropriateness and suitability, but rather in
terms of availability and popularity. This, in the long run, does not turn out to be very fruitful and
its after-effects are felt in more ways than one.
