for that specific goal

Step 1: Write down your academic SMART goal

I came to sol plaatje university to acquire knowledge. With this knowledge, I want to
Work for one of the most famous and high paying tech companies. In the process of
learning, I want to push myself to earn high marks that can increase the chances of
being employed for the job that I want.
I’ll remain focused in these coming years of studying at sol plaatje as I was from the
inception. With the degree that I’ll obtain, I am aiming to create softwares and
applications that will make other people’s lives easy .this might sound like I'm
delusional, but I’d like to work for the likes of Mark Zuckerberg.

Step 2: Verify that your goal is SMART

Specific: What exactly will you accomplish?
By remaining devoted and practicing on a daily bases. Setting a timetable can also help me
to create a way of studying. By also being socially absent most of the time and spend more
time on my books.
And by also asking for help from my peers and from lectures.
Measurable: How will you know when you have reached this goal?
I’ll obtain distinctions in every module of the course that I’ve enrolled for. I’ll get a job in one
of the high paying tech companies like Google.
Attainable: Is achieving this goal realistic with effort and commitment? Have you the
resources to achieve this goal? If not, how will you get them?
Yes. Most of the people who are programmers used the same technique the time they where
at university. They remained consistent in the courses of all the years they where at
university. And obviously, with proof of where they work and the companies that some of
them are working for, I can see that with out a pessimist mind set and with devotion, I can
see that this degree is attainable.
Relevant: Why is this goal significant to your life?
Because I want to be able to create softwares or applications that can make other people’s
lives easy.

Time-bound: When will this goal be achieved?

In the next coming 3 years.

This goal is important because:

I can help me to get a job quick. Most of the machines and every applications and
electronics are programmed by coders. So if I become a coder I’ll be able to programme
too.
The benefit of achieving this goal will be:
Getting employed fast becomes coders are in demand in many countries.
I can work remotely. Ill be able to code and work for companies like Google.

Step 3: Develop an action plan for your academic goal.
