Statement of Purpose

At an early age, I was fascinated by technology. The exponential growth in usage of various
devices to ease human efforts has just begun. Technology has become a vital part of every human
being. My association started when my elder brother got his first laptop. This then led to the
exploration of a whole new world via the internet. The fact that the world can run in an
automated fashion with the help of a few codes to make lives not only easier but also more
purposeful had a major impact on choosing a dedicated path. I was a keen observer and started
to gain knowledge of how a machine and human interact using algorithms. The interest drove
me to know more about computer science and its applications to generate promising insights to
use in businesses and organizations for solving their complex problems. I realized this is where I
wanted to be. Thus, I look forward to pursuing a Master’s (MS) from a reputed University.

I have been an academically good student and successfully completed my primary education (10th
standard) with an 8.5 GPA. Because of my ability to solve complex mathematical questions, I
chose Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as primary subjects in my secondary school education
(10+2) and secured 92%. For my Bachelor of Engineering degree, I joined the Information
Technology program in the ISL Engineering College, Hyderabad, Telangana. The undergraduate
program here had several subjects and courses which not only raised my interest in this stream
but also imparted me in essential skills and knowledge that are imperative for grasping various
concepts which intensified my critical thinking skills, through which I have achieved 7.54 C.G.P.A.

During the first year of my undergraduate, I was introduced to C Programming, which I found
very interesting and applicable to solve problems. It aroused interest towards programming and
prompted me to work on a variety of complex problems on online programming sites, which
expanded my coding skills. This persuaded me to explore the field of Computer Science further.
In addition to C Programming, I was also exposed to many other courses such as Database
Management System, Software Development, Operating System, Computer Networks, Data
Mining. The lab and practical experiences assisted me to implement these diverse concepts. I
also had the opportunity to pursue electives like Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics.

I was selected for an internship at Amazon Web Services for Cloud Architect, where I worked on
various cloud technology such as EC2 (servers), S3 (storage), RDS (database)to name a few.
The internship had a capstone project where we had to use various AWS cloud amenities to
complete it and get familiar to the concept.
I also learned the basics of Data Analytics and its applications in today’s world. During the
internship, I learned that AWS data analytics empowers individuals with the knowledge and skills
to harness the power of cloud-based analytics solutions and make informed decisions based on
data-driven insights. I have attended many seminars on network virtualization and introduction
to IOT which was conducted by CISCO.
In my sixth semester, I was involved in a project of a login into different websites using facial
detection and provide security of user data which is used by the websites. Using XAMPP Server
for the facial dots and various python libraries. For my final project, I opt for a major project
involving different concepts of Artificial Intelligence.

I strongly believe that the Computer Science program at Illinois Institute of Technology will
channel my skills and potential towards my goal of becoming a successful associate. The
exceptional faculty, infrastructure, and laboratory facilities at Illinois Institute of Technology will
help me gain a different perspective by diminishing the gap between theoretical studies and
practical experience. Your energetic information system curriculum will help me gain a
foundational understanding of the software development field and help me develop my technical
skills in an early stage. I look up to being a student at Illinois Institute of Technology and take the
first step towards fulfilling my future ambitions. I am excitedly waiting to gain an understanding
of the subject from the faculty at Illinois Institute of Technology. It has competitive and
inexpensive course fees in comparison with other colleges and universities. It will be a privilege
to be taught by such qualified professors. This really encouraged me to study here. The soul of
university teaching lies in the victory of the symbolic relationship between the student and his
department.

I choose to seek master’s in the United States for many reasons such as US master’s degree has
an excellent international reputation and universities offer an adaptable academic environment.
The US has the best world-class education with great faculty and wide research facilities. Its
diverse culture with amicable people makes me choose America for my master’s program.
Getting a master’s degree from a reputed US university opens many doors. A degree in Computer
Science from the US is one of the most highly acclaimed programs in the world. There is only one
reasoning location for my additional learning: the USA, a nation that sits at the center of the
computing universe.

Specified the assembling of my characteristics and professional attentiveness, my goal is to

obtain a master's degree and then, to work in an IT-related industry. Handling a master's in
computer science engineering program will authorize me to sculpt a niche for myself in the
industry along with deepening my expertise. After the accomplishment of my study, I will be
returning to my home country and working in the potential fields of employment. I shall also
obtain relevant practical experience and skills to perfectly implement my education into effect.
Choosing this course to study will help me to catch my dream career. After getting a degree I can
employ myself in potential fields like software developer, Web designer, Cloud Engineer, Systems
Analysts, Database Support Personnel, Computer Programmer, Computer Support Specialists,
Consultants. As per my research, after returning to my home country I can see huge potential for
an intelligent and competitive candidate in the different related fields of systems.
