Design Rationale

1. FYP Bank

1.1. Currently, the table that shows the data is too small. Extend it, so that it is
easier on the eyes.
1.2. The website also does not have a very appealing visual design. The grey
colour of the table, and the white background makes the website look very
bland and boring. Grey and white also do not contrast very much, making
them somewhat blend together.

1.3. When the window is minimised, the page does not down scale properly,
causing user difficulty in reading.

1.4. Figure 3 shows that the text box does not resize according to the browser’s
windows size. This is usually caused by a HTML bug and can be easily fixed
by tweaking the coding to resize accordingly with the rest of the UI elements.

2. Unifi
2.1. The black and orange background makes it very difficult to see the icons and
read the letters.

2.2. Use light colored fonts to avoid words blending with the background.

2.3. Inconsistent navigation bar when swapped from consumer to business mode.
Keep it consistent to improve the user's navigation experience.

2.4. The screen layout is quite poorly designed, some images are cut off too early.
This may cause the users to miss out on information, and it makes the website
look unprofessional. This can be easily fixed by setting a dynamic element
size rather than hard coding the image’s size.
