ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
No. 2016 - 0035-2
SUBJECT: Further Amendment to Administrative Order No. 2016-0035 dated
September 19, 2016 entitled “Guidelines on the Provision of Quality
Antenatal Care in All Birthing Centers and Health Facilities Providing
Maternity Care Services”

Administrative Order No. 2016-0035 dated September 19, 2016 entitled “Guidelines
on the Provision of Quality Antenatal Care in All Birthing Centers and Health Facilities
Providing Maternity Care Services”, is hereby amended to change the Oral Glucose
Challenge Test (OGCT) to Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) on screening and test as
recommended by the Philippine Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) on Diagnosis and
Screening for Gestational Diabetes.

Item 7 of Section VI, Specific Guidelines on Screening and Test shall now read as
follows:

As thus amended, all other provisions of AO No. 2016-0035 and AO No. 2016-
0035-A not affected by the aforementioned amendment shall remain valid and in
effect.
