When the shaft is vertical and centrally located in the tank, the tangential component is -
generally disadvantageous. The tangential flow follows a circular path around the shaft and

If solid particles are present, circulatory currents tend to throw the outside by centrifugal -
force; from there they move downward and to the center of the tank at the bottom. Instead
.of mixing, its reverse concentration occurs
If the swirling is strong, the flow pattern in the tank is virtually the same regardless of the -

Types of mixers:

Fluid Mixers

For viscous fluid, the mixer is provided with 2 sets of blades, the outer one rotating at as
low RPM as 15 to 25 & the inner one at comparatively higher RPM & in the reverse
direction which mixers the ingredients uniformly all over.
Other versions of mixers are tilt able mixers, rotating at higher RPM as required for low
viscosity fluids.
Planetary Gear Mixers are also meant for higher viscous fluids.

Fluid Mixer

In Inline agitation system, the possibility of materials –Liquid or Solid passing through it,
without subjected to intense hydraulic and mechanical shear actions is zero. Here suction
pipe (inlet pipe) is centrally mounted & outlet is radically mounted , therefore it is physically
impossible for any material to pass from inlet to outlet without exposed to agitation.

The stator which surrounds rotor is available with various type of opening i.e. round,
square, rectangular & with perforation also so that all the critical demand of Mixing,
Emulsifying, Disintegration & Dispersion of solids, suspension can be met out by same
equipment.

The machine is versatile & has completely revolutionized the traditional mixing techniques.
Here close tolerance of rotor with the stator produces high hydraulic shearing &
mechanical action that ensures that material entrapped between rotor & stator is subjected
to tremendous shearing actions each minute.

Direct Drive Mixers

The direct drive mixers are used for low viscosity fluids like in water treatment plant,

750 rpm and power ranging from 0.18 kw to 2.2 kw. Flange and angular bracket mounting
position is available. Lifting lowering stand suitable for different tank sizes is also an
optional accessory to cyclone direct drive agitators. Different mixing impellers like
propellers, pitched turbines and other axial or radial flow turbines can be fitted for different
properties of fluids and applications. These mixers are also available with adjustable

Static Mixer

Our range of static mixers is used in mixing of different liquids, fluids and material in the
process industry. Our mixers provides power-efficient mixing and do not involve the
moving part as mixing aids during its inline mixing operation. We use Stainless Steel,
Exotic metals, PTFE & FRP for mixing elements and external housing as well.
           
The components are pumped at the inlet of the mixing unit that comprises of static mixing
elements. The fluids are directed radically outwards and inwards along with continuous
flow of fluid in the forward direction. The speed of the movement can be changed with
adding more number of mixing elements along with changing the angle of movement by
