Assignment 2: ERP Process Presentation in ODOO

Assume a hypothetical company of your own and configure the ODOO system to support processes
in your company.
Following five categories of processes to be configured and demonstrated:

1. Financial Process (Any sub-process such as Customer Invoice to Payments Collection, Vendor Bill
to Payment, etc)

2. Purchasing Process (Any sub-process such as purchase in different units of measure than sales,
Call for tenders, blanket orders, Inventory, Bar code, etc.)

3. Manufacturing Process (Any sub-process such as create bill of materials, plan work orders,
quality, maintenance, PLM, etc.)
4. HR Process (Any sub-process such as leave approval, Recruitment, Expense claim, attendances,
skills management, Payroll, etc.)
5. Website (website, eCommerce, eLearnng, Live Chat, online jobs, Blogs, etc.)
Please prepare a report consisting of company details, process details and screen shots and upload to
portal.
This is an individual assignment. Each student should create own database, configure the system and
prepare a report of his/her own.
Work in process document to be submitted by April 10 th 2022.
Students also need to demonstrate the solution. Demonstration is group-wise.
The duration of the presentation is 15 minutes per group. Each member of the group expected to pick
one sub-process and demonstrate. As a group, all 5 process categories need to be covered. (Do not
take up sales, service, marketing and CRM. These will be part of next assignment). Also process
transaction to be created and shown during demonstration. Demo of already created transaction
would not suffice.
