JOB DESCRIPTION

10/7/2019
1. Inspect intercooler after cleaning by client. (condition not so good)
2. Install back intercooler and others part at the engine.
3. Perform compression test at all cylinder.
4. Founded 8 cylinder (C2,C6.C7,C9,C11,C12,C13,C15) not in specification.

11/7/2019
1. Prepare engine to start operation.
2. Adjust fuel limiter and fuel ratio for starting.
3. Engine fail to start due to bad condition of cylinder head and intercooler.
4. Engine manage to cranking up to 500rpm and speed fall due to throttle opening at 100%.

12/7/2019
1. Dismantle 8 unit cylinder head from GE2 and check the condition of cylinder head.
2. Prepare parts for the next action.

Problem Founded :
1. Intercooler set of plates condition was not good. Can see the dirt build up.
2. Cylinder head compression was very bad.

Recommendation :
1. To change the intercooler for the best result.
2. To recondition bad cylinder head.
