Patient : Good morning

Midwife : Morning. Oh Mrs, Can i know your name and where you live?
Patient : My name is Nurazizah and i live pekan arba, Tembilahan
Midwife : When were you born?
Patient : I was born on February 25, 1997
Midwife : What is your race and religion?
Patient : My race is melayu and my religion is islam
Midwife : Can i help you?
Patient : I want to check my pregnancy
Midwife : Ok, do you have already children before?
Patient : Not yet, this is my first time pregnancy
Midwife : Alright, do you remember when the first day of your last menstruation
period is?
Patient : Yes, if i am not mistaken, it was on 19 january 2022
Midwife : Hmm, if i count from the first day of last menstruation, Mrs. Already
pregnancy 12 week. Do you have problem in this pregnancy?
Patient : This is Midwife, i always have nausea and vomiting, and i’ve been
treated for 2 weeks.
Midwife : So, what’s the change, Mrs?
Patient : There is Midwife, and the doctor said when I was allowed to go home
that my condition was much better. Nausea and vomiting that I feel has
been reduced. But I'm worried midwife, because until now the nausea
and vomiting haven't stopped, does it affect my fetus?
Midwife : After being treated yesterday, Mrs. Did you feel immediately weak after
nausea and vomiting and couldn’t stand up?
Patient : No Midwife. it’s just that now i have no appetite
Midwife : Are there any other complaints that you feel now that make you feel
uncomfortable, Mrs?
Patient : No Mmidwife
Midwife : Nausea and vomiting are normal at 0-3 months of gestation. Because
pregnancy causes many changes in the, Mrs. body system. But, Mrs. do
not worry because it is a natural thing. If yesterday the, Mrs. experienced
nausea and excessive vomiting is due to excessive rejection by the, Mrs.
body. Because pregnancy is a foreign object for the, Mrs. body, it is
rejected by the body's system. But the response is a natural thing. So
don't worry too much because you are still going through a normal stage
at this point.
Patient : Then why the nausea and vomiting have not stopped, midwife?
Midwife : The nausea and vomiting will gradually stop because the Mrs body will
adjust to the changes that occur in the Mrs body. But Mrs can do things
that can reduce the Mrs nausea and vomiting
Patient : what’s that, midwife?
Midwife : if you eat not in large portions, Mrs. it is better in small portions but often
or you can eat dry biscuits or toast just before get out of bed in the
morning. Then if you can Mrs avoid oily food and smells distinctive
because it will trigger nausea. Then every time you finish eating It's
better to sit up straight because it can prevent the feeling of wanting to
vomit. And do not suddenly stand up when you wake up in the morning
because you will feel unsteady, nauseous and vomit.
Patient : Oh, i see. Midwife, yesterday i was advised to do the same as you
mentioned but i never try it on a regular basis
Midwife : why don’t you try it?
Patient : Because i’m not sure
Midwife : Try it, insyaallah, there will be changes. To know the change, Mrs come
again after 3 days
Patient : Alright, Midwife. Thank you for the advice
Midwife : You’re welcome, Mrs. Nice to meet you
Patient : Nice to meet you too
