wealth management of individual clients of various profiles
PLO 2b- Demonstrate the ability to develop models /
frameworks to reflect critically on specific business contexts

Learning Objectives:
To enable students to develop skills required for managing wealth
of different clients including high net worth individual, retail
investors and other kinds of investors. To enable students to
understand the key components of wealth creation process and
financial planning, wealth preservation and transfer of wealth.

Learning The student will be able to understand the various aspects of


Outcomes financial planning, wealth management and advisory aspects for
different clientele. Students should be able develop financial plans
for different types of clients based on the client’s risk profiling,
investment psychology, life stage.

Course Learning Outcomes:


CLO 1: To compose financial plan for different entities
CLO 2: To recommend various alternatives to meet client financial
goals
CLO 3: To analyse the impact of client risk profile on various areas
such Retirement Planning, Child education and Marriage,
Investment planning, amongst others.

Course The course will help the students acquire knowledge, skills,
Description attitudes and values required to operate ethically and responsibly in
the highly regulated financial services environment. Students will
be exposed to the important terms, and theories related to wealth
and investment management. The course will help the students to
respond to the challenges posed by the changing nature of the
financial products landscape. Students here will be exposed not
only to the theoretical concepts but also their practical applications.
It will also provide opportunities for students to apply academic
skills practically in their personal life. Students will learn the
process of creating wealth, the methods and instruments involved
as well as managing wealth.
