I’m choosing to write about the crown.

ACT I SCENE 5:
In this scene Lady Macbeth is talking about killing the King Duncan and his son, Prince Malcom
so that Macbeth can be king because lot’s of the other people want Macbeth to be the king.

Dicey’s Song By: Cynthia Voigt

This book is the sequel to Homecoming. It’s a 7 book series. Dicey’s Song is the second book in
the series.
I chose this shape because it looks like a river. The river is kinda the important part of the book

because it’s Dicey’s calming place also known as a happy place. So far in the book Dicey's

basically adjusting to a new life with her Grandmother (they call her Gram) and she wants to fix

up the sail boat and learn to sail. I also chose this shape/design because in the first book,

Homecoming Dicey explains how much she and the kids love the water and love to swim

because back in their home with their mother, they lived on the bay and they’d spend hours

outside swimming and playing in the dunes. So I kinda feel like a river has a lot of deep

connections to this series because the river and sailing and the swimming pop up in the book a

lot.

Before:

Lines: “I will exert every muscle in my body to commit this crime” (47).
“If the assassination of the king…” (41).

Relates: King Duncan trusts Lady Macbeth, but she persuades Macbeth to kill the king.
Therefore, she betrays him.

After:
In these few pages, Fleur is taken captive by a man named Captain Douglas Lausks, and
three other guards. The guards’ names are Noelle, Denver, and Lixue. These four represent the
white dots, while Fleur and Jack represent the black ones. Everyone is trying to stand in their
way of being together. When Fleur is taken they are asking her what happened on the mountain
when she and Jack turned off their transmitters (that's very bad that it's a “coincidence”). She
turned it off so no one could track her so she could have a few minutes to hold him while Jack
dies (not permanently, it’s just how it works with seasons). Now that she has been in
questioning, she doesn't want to get him involved and possibly have him hurt. The guards have
a perfect mixture of all the seasons which makes it impossible to track them. With Fleur being a
Spring, it’s horrible if she gets too cold and she could permanently die. One of the four starts to
freeze the room, and she gets colder and colder. Then, it stops the chapter and goes to the next
one.
