- square the circle: to do something that is considered to be impossible, tìm giải

- attain (v): to succeed in getting something, usually after a lot of effort, đạt được.

- acknowledge (v): to accept that something is true, công nhận.

- commit a crime: to do something wrong or illegal, phạm tội.

- drop out (=of): to not do something you were planning to do, or to stop doing

e.g: Some bidders are rumored to have dropped out because of the cost of putting

- launch: to send something out, such as a new ship into the water or a spacecraft
