JCB China has introduced an air conditioning system

as an option for the JS205 CH machine. As part
of the of the optional A/C system new adaptor
and control panel components have been changed.
Some parts have been removed related to the air
heating function. As the changes have not yet been
covered in SPP and the service manual. Refer to this
service bulletin for new part numbers and operation
description requirement.

Coolant T Adaptor Identification
1. Make the machine safe. Refer to the Operator’s
Manual.
2. Identify the machine version of A/C system and
non A/C system.

4. Similarly, Locate the adaptor tee in new A/C
system machines. Refer to Figure 2.

A/C System Machine Controls
The operator must set the controls to obtain the best
working environment in the operator station.
1. Close doors and windows for best A/C
performance and in dusty conditions. Note that
poor ventilated air can cause tiredness.
2. Do not operate the machine for long periods
without ventilation or with the operator station
fully closed and the fan turned off.
3. The A/C reduces moisture from the air and can
be used to demist windows quickly in damp
weather.
4. The A/C control panel is installed on the trim
panel to the right side of the operator seat. Refer
to Figure 3.

5. The temperature is adjusted by the temperature
control switch and a fan switch.

5.1. To increase the temperature, turn the
temperature control switch clockwise.
5.2. To decrease the temperature, turn the
temperature control switch anticlockwise.
5.3. Turn the fan speed switch to adjust the
speed of the fan. This functions only when
the ignition key is on blower switch position.

6.1. To switch on the air conditioning system,
turn the air conditioning switch to air
conditioning switch position.
6.2. To switch on the air blower, turn the
air conditioning switch to blower switch
position.
6.3. To get fresh air in the cab, turn the
recirculation switch to fresh air switch
position.
6.4. To recirculate the air, turn the recirculation
switch to recirculation switch position. Note
that this should be used when you operate
in a dusty working environment.
To obtain the best results from the air conditioning
system make sure that all doors and windows are
closed and before starting the engine air conditioning
is switched off.
