A Birthday Party
Hello. I am Nazlı. In the past three years, I worked as a cardiology nurse at American
Hospital in Gaziantep. The job was tiring. I worked very hard, so I decided to change my job
and move to Istanbul last summer. I went to Istanbul, rented a flat in August, and moved
there in November. In December, I found a job in Medical Garden Hospital as a cardiology
nurse and started my master’s degree.
I work six hours a day in this hospital. I assist a cardiologist in this hospital I prepare
the patients for the operations and I also deal with them after the operations. This week the
doctor is on vacation and today is my day off. Now I am making a cake because my friends
are coming in the afternoon. There is a surprise party for Aslı because today is her birthday.
We are having a birthday party in the afternoon. Today, Eylem is cooking delicious desserts
and Ayşe is making pizza for the party. Kaan and Mehmet are also coming. They are buying
the drinks for the party.
