ORIGINS
It all started as a retirement plan for both Om J and Tante Wiwid,
where they both can be productive life in the old days later on.
But then it grew into something exceptional, to build a legacy
with a mission to give back to the community, by letting
customers explore and experience what is a truly good coffee.

We started small in Pluit and grew until we reached the Northern


part of the hustle bustle city of Jakarta. We reaching out with
our original name, Ombé Kofie; because we believe in our core
values in customer service, hospitality, and our belief in coffee
quality in each of our Ombé Kofie stores.

OUR
STORES
Now with eight homes in Pluit, Mall Kelapa Gading,
Summarecon Mall Bekasi, UOB Plaza, Cikajang,
DBS in Capital Place, Menara Bank Danamon,
and Pantai Indah Kapuk,
each possessing different characteristics
but still with the same core: giving good quality cup
while tying a relationship with our personal touch.
DRINKS
Whenever you walked into our bars, you will always see two or more
grinders standing tall on the bar. Now you might ask why would we
have more than one grinder? Well, there are tons of regions with
amazing coffees, and we always want to give the very best experience
for all of #PeopleOfOmbé.

In one of our hopper, we always put different single origin beans that
came from different parts of the world, from the vast land of Africa,
the bold South America, and to our own beloved country: Indonesia.
We want all of you to explore and try various regions with different
tasting notes that you can get from the single origin coffees that
we brought into our bar.

Meanwhile in the other hopper, we always put our own blend, the
“Dark Side.” Perhaps it sounded familiar as it is in one of the most
classic and famous movie franchises since 1977, “Star Wars”
(fun fact: Om J is a huge fan of the franchise). But it all comes down to
our customers’ preference back at our first outlet in Pluit, strong and
bold tasting notes. Dark side itself consists of Brazil of its nutty notes,
Gayo and Flores for a kick of spices and boldness that will be
very apparent in your cup of coffee, which helps a lot to wake you up
in the morning and get that day pumped up.

So, whenever you are looking for your daily dose of caffeine fix, just
come by to our bar, have a little chat with our barista and we will make
your day just right.

BEHIND
THE KITCHEN

Even though we are a specialty coffee shop, that does not mean that we take
our food less than our coffee. Our head chef, Hendry had experience cooking
in Australia for 20 years until he decided to move back to Jakarta.
We also want to bring the best when it comes to food. But what we serve to
your table does not necessarily represent Australian dishes, instead we might
serve you Pork Chop Sambal Matah and even Pork Noodle.
What our kitchen created represents a
blend of comfort food and artisanal dishes
that actually might surprise you in a way
that any other coffee shop never does.
We cannot wait to serve and share our
creations with you!
