Aim: Welfare of students

Introduction:
The family, as a cell, acts solely out of love and respect, and it rules over comprehension,
devotion, sacrifice, and childcare. As a result, a family environment is created in which we
live, laugh, play, and develop children. In some ways, the modern notion of their role and
contribution in this respect rejects the so-called single direction of influence of parents over
their children's development, replacing it with a complex interaction of three factors: the kid,
the parent, and the larger social environment.
Life education begins with the early days of a child's life in a given home. It is mostly made
up of gaining experience, which is frequently influenced by continuous learning. In this
sense, parents and the family as a whole play the role of direct leaders and supports in the
implementation of their children's education. Because this is one of the most important
influencing variables, it can be considered the most important, as it has a higher impact on the
total growth and creation of the human personality. Children's abilities and general learning
capacity, which leads to their success in learning, education is a complex process. As a result,
parents should get involved in helping their children with their homework, as this is one of
the essential tactics for ensuring their children's success in school. The educational level of
children in a family is highly dependent on the level of education of the parents, therefore this
element has a significant impact on family ties and the successful development of children.
Parental influence over the child must be permanent for the child to achieve strong academic
performance. On the other hand, in order to be successful in the educational activity we are
doing with the child, we need to be familiar with some rules that are related to the child's
physical growth, as well as specific attention to the child's psychological development. If
parents have a positive effect on their children's daily lives, particularly in their schooling, the
future will be more beautiful and prosperous.
Our perspective
Squabble/Conflict between parents- A child living in a family conflict is at a greater risk of
anxiety, depression & emotional damage which directly affects mental health. This can affect
the child's marks and also restrict the child to socialize with others.

Peer pressure/comparison- The problem arises when instead of observing our child's
individual growth & progress & seeking help if needed, we compare our child to either
his/her sibling or other children and judge him for being different. Which also creates rivalry
between the two individuals. By constantly comparing children it may affect their mental
health & self-esteem since they believe they can’t do things like others.

Bonding- mostly both the parents are working so it is difficult for parents to interact with
their children. Due to this, the children are unable to share their issues as well as their happy
moments with their parents which directly affects their bonding, and the child starts to feel
lonely, and this affects their mental health.

Role of Family - Research shows that family plays a more important role in student’s
academic achievement rather than schools & communities. Since Education plays a vital role
in our life it’s very important for the parents to be literate enough to teach their kids. Parents
who have attended classes and learned effective discipline and parenting techniques report
having children with higher grades, fewer behaviour problems, less substance abuse issues,
better mental health and greater social competence. We can conduct, Parenting education
programs offer support and education that can address issues and make parenting easier, more
enjoyable, and can strengthen a child’s ability to thrive.

This survey was conducted for the development and improvement of children's grade but it
