REFLECTION PAPER

Last November 20, 2021 our instructor discussed about the importance of nature
since our topic was about Nature is Beautiful and We are Stewards of God’s Creation. As we
discussed about it, I felt happy knowing that god really is great for giving us all we need
through nature. Also, I have learned that we should also be responsible in using nature,
should not abuse it and be grateful for having such blessings. The discussion was not
boring, I understand the discussion very well for my instructor deliver it in a way that we can
understand. Also, I am grateful for being able to attend and learn about these topics for this
is important for me as a teenager and it enlighten me about our surroundings.

I have learned that among all creatures, humans are the only ones made in God’s image
and have been given the right to have dominion over all His creations. Being the most
intelligent and gifted with reason, humans are capable of manipulating creation to their own
advantage. Thus, we should realize what is happening in our surroundings. We should
conserve and protect our environment. The quality of the environment is the result of the
choices and actions that have been made by the occupants. It is the population 's
responsibility to validate that the activities that are taking place are environmentally
responsible and not harmful to its people. It is extremely important to sustain the
environment and its natural resources for the future generations. Therefore, environmental
stewardship is the responsible use and protection of the natural resources and environment
through conservation, ecological, recycling, regeneration, and restoration practices. There
are practices that are put into place to increase the environmental stewardship, which
include the efficiency of using resources, reducing the waste, and providing an efficient and
a healthy work environment. However, the three most important concepts are the
efficiency, ecologically, and healthy. Efficiency is using the minimum required resources
while producing the minimum amount of waste. I did a lot realization after understanding
our nature. I realized that we humans are the reason that some living things are getting
extinct. Each one of us is responsible for the damage of our nature. Many people are
blinded by their selfish side and believe that abusing nature is normal, those people don't
have knowledge and broad understanding about the existence of our nature. I have also
realized that we can help bringing our nature back to life by doing simple things and being a
responsible individual. Environment does not exist only for us but to all living things, we
must share and take care of it in order to maintain our resources for the next generation.

As a human being, I will do my part to protect, save and love our nature. I promise to be
a responsible individual in using nature's part. I would avoid things that are harmful to our
nature. I will start to join programs in promoting the beauty and spreading knowledge about
our mother nature. Lastly, I will educate the people around me about how to be a
responsible user of nature because it is one way of saving earth.
