The Asian Development Bank (ADB) recognizes
that many expatriate couples are dual-career
couples. This means that, to succeed with
expatriation, career continuity for the spouse
is of utmost importance to a successful stay for
the whole family.

To help attract and retain talented staff, ADB is

offering career-related services for spouses and
domestic partners of ADB international staff
seeking to find employment in the Philippines
or in the region.

the ADB Expatriate Spouse Career Services gives
you the tools and support you need to launch
an effective job search.

The ADB Expatriate Spouse Career Services

offers a combination of individual coaching,
group career workshops, learning sessions, and
help with resumé writing and LinkedIn profiling.

Individual coaching will help you seek clarity

about your opportunities in the local market and
reach your career goals. Group career workshops
will provide the tools you need to transition your
career. Through these workshops, you will have
the opportunity to meet other spouses and expand
your network.
Our services
Career Coaching Program: Through the program,
you will learn about the local job market and other
pertinent career-related topics. You will also learn
how to brand and present yourself, become better
at networking, get through a successful interview,
and use LinkedIn effectively. You will join a group
of around 12 spouses.

Career Workshops: Our career workshop covers

a wide range of career-related topics and tips.
They are designed to help you kick-start your
job search. The workshops are part of the career
coaching program, but you may join even if you
are not enrolled in the program.

Career Lab: Each month, we conduct career labs.

These are half-day learning sessions whereby you
can learn more about career-related topics and
practice your job search skills.

Career Talks: Join our knowledge sharing sessions

with external speakers who will give you first-hand
market experience about job search and career
development.

Personal Branding: We can help you create an

effective resumé and an eye-catching LinkedIn
profile.

The ADB Expatriate Spouse Career Services is

here to help you find the answers to your career-
related questions.

Location
All workshops as well as learning and coaching
sessions are held at the ADB headquarters,
Manila. For spouses and domestic partners of
ADB international staff in a resident mission,
coaching sessions are available via Skype.
