Title: Online Distribution of Medicine Pamphlet

Introduction:

The role of medicine has done much in the fields of infectious diseases and
emergencies and has been described to cure individuals but lack of awareness of
drugs by patients can lead to inappropriate usage, treatment failure and endanger
someone's health. Furthermore, a lack of information may result in unintentional
overdose or noncompliance with medication prescriptions, resulting in poor
outcomes (Feglo & Adu-Sarkodie, 2016).But without doubt, suitable health care
workers are responsible for teaching patients regarding their medicines; however,
there are several restrictions to this, such as being overburdened, doctors' lack of
knowledge and awareness, patients' lower literacy status, as well as a level of
clinical motivation in studying about the dosed medicines, all of which complicate the
convenience of patient education. False information about medicine has always
been an issue in Barangay Labuin Sta. Cruz Laguna and the number of sick
residents and residents that lack knowledge about medicine is increasing.

As a result the proponent wants to distribute a medicine pamphlet containing the

dosage and the number of tablets and hours to be taken per day. With the use of
valid information about medicines, the residents will be able to gain knowledge
about taking precautions on how and what medicine they need to use.
