SB RESOLUTION NO. 2022-001

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BARANGAY TREASURER TO RELEASE FUND FOR THE

MONETIZATION OF LEAVE CREDIT BENEFITS AMOUNTING ONE HUNDRED THIRTEEN
THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY EIGHT PESOS & 07/100 113,278.07 OF BARANGAY LUMBIA
OFFICIALS.

WHEREAS, pursuant Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Joint
Memorandum Circular (JMC) No. 1 s. 2004, providing guidelines for the monetization of Leave Credits of Barangay
Officials;

WHEREAS, section 6 of Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Joint
Memorandum Circular (JMC) No. 1 s. 2004, Funding for leave benefits shall charge against the appropriations for
personal services of the barangay; The payment of leave benefits, being statutory obligation, shall be given priority in
the barangay budget, subject to fifty five percent (55%) limitation on personal services provided under section 331 (b) of
RA 7160. The money value of annual leave benefits for a particular year shall be paid in full within the first quarter of
the immediate succeeding fiscal year;

WHEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Marilou P. Castillo, duly seconded by the honorable body be it;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, the barangay treasurer is authorized to release fund for the Monetization of Leave Credits
Benefits of barangay officials of Barangay Lumbia.;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to all agencies concerned for their guidance and immediate action;
