A RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING FROM HON. WENDELL ELIOT
AVISADO, SECRETARY OF DEPARTMENT OF THE BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT
(DBM), FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FARM-TO-MARKET
ROADS, SOLAR POWER SYSTEM AND SOLAR STREET LIGHTS TO THE MUNICIPALITY
OF PURA

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Pura has identified the need to improve and develop
the road network in the different barangays, particularly to the farm-to-market roads of this municipality
to enhance productivity and to contribute to the social and economic growth of the community;

WHEREAS, in support to the medium-term agricultural development plan which envisions our
country’s global competitiveness and people’s empowerment, there is a need to construct farm-to-market
roads to ensure the participation of farmers in attaining food security and maximum agricultural
productivity;

WHEREAS, the municipality recognizes the lack of fund implement its priority projects hence
the need to request for funding assistance from outside sources for the following projects, to wit:

WHEREAS, the honorable body deems that this road construction project is a major contributing
factor in the progress of this municipality;

NOW THEREFORE, upon unanimous motion presented, be it:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to adopt a resolution respectfully requesting from

HON. WENDEL ELIOT AVISADO, SECRETARY OF DEPARTMENT OF THE BUDGET AND
MANAGEMENT (DBM), Financial Assistance for the Construction of Farm-To-Market Roads, Solar
Power System and Solar Street Lights to the Municipality of Pura.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copy of this resolution to HON. WENDEL ELIOT

AVISADO, Secretary, Department of the Budget and Management (DBM), General Solano Street, San
Miguel, MANILA, for his kind and favorable consideration.
