(After reading Slide 4 Read this) - Because For example like Facebook, it would not be that interesting if
it were not for all your friends. In fact, the more friends you have, the more interaction and content you
get. This also rings true for other websites and blogs.

(After reading Slide 5 Read this) – As shown in the picture on the left an example of a web portal is
Yahoo!. Yahoo.com offers a web portal where news, email, weather, etc. are found in one page. The
information found in the image came from different website/sources.

(After reading Slide 7 Read this) – Working together does not necessarily mean you have to be
physically together. These tools can help your group ‘’go the distance’’ and work as if you have already
have your own office.
As you can see from the slide here, there are 5 examples of online collaborative tools shown:

1. 1st is Facebook, You can use Facebook groups to create a group page that will allow people in
your group to communicate your ideas.
2. 2nd is WordPress, WordPress also allows you to have multiple contributors for a single blog.
3. 3rd is Google and Microsoft, Google Drive and Microsoft* Office Online allow multiple people to
work on different office files and even have their own group’s cloud storage.
4. 4th is Yammer, Microsoft’s Yammer offer companies to have their own social network that allows
sharing and managing content.
5. 5th is Trello, Sites like Trello offer an online to-do checklist for your entire team.
