Company: JCB India Ltd., Ballabgarh, Haryana
Duration: 1stDecember – 31stDecember 2017 (1 Month)
Role: Intern in Production and Assembly Unit at backhoe (4CX and 4DX) assembly line.

Summer Internship
Company: ESCORTS Agri Machinery, Faridabad, Haryana
Duration: 5thJune– 28th July 2018 (2 Month)
Role: Intern at Engine PU in Escorts Farmtrac plant

Academic Projects

1) Project: “Fabrication and testing of a 2-Stage Vapor Compression Cascade System” as part of B.Tech Major Project (2019)
o Preparation of a working model of a cascade VCR cycle satisfying the required specifications consisting of ref. capacity, inlet
and outlet temp and pressure and constructing a working prototype based on this model for further testing and study.

Role:
i) Study of previous papers and studies conducted on the topic and record important observations.
ii) Deciding the various cycle specifications like LT & HT cycle refrigerants, heat exchanger temperatures and compressor
pressure ratios.
iii) Finalizing on the required components and procuring them from the market at nominal prices.
iv) Overseeing and observing the fabrication of the cycle prototype.
v) Observation and testing of various cycle characteristics of the model prototype

2). Project: “Review of Mechanical & Manual processes involved across CT Line and identifying the bottlenecks and uneven
Cycle time distribution on each HMC Machine for remedies to minimise the total cycle time of process” as part of summer
internship at Escorts Agri Machinery (2018)

o Observed the various mechanical and manual processes operated across the CT Line and understood the stepwise process of
machining of the part in various CNC Machines.
o Conducted process cycle time study on every HMC Machine on CT Line and various tools used.

Role:
i) Comparison of cycle time for each HMC Machine and identifying the bottlenecks and uneven cycle time distribution.
ii) Preparation and recommendation of a list of remedies to minimise the total cycle time of the process with the help of line
balancing, adjustments in process or tools movements etc.

3). Project: “Comparative energy and exergy analysis of R404a, R290 and R134a refrigerants using a simulated Cascade
Vapor Compression Refrigeration System (CVCRS)” as part of the M.Tech Major Project (2020-21)

o Preparing a scientific paper on the comparative exergy and energy analysis between the 3 refrigerants using Engineering
Equation Solver software simulated model of a 2-stage cascade VCR cycle.

Role:
iii) Study of previous papers and studies conducted on the topic and record important observations and methodology.
iv) Simulate a cascade vapor compression refrigeration cycle using EES software.
v) Calculate the various output parameters like COP, compressor work, exergy loss, etc for each of the refrigerants individually.
vi) Compare the output energy and exergy parameters using graphical representations and charts to find out the best suited
refrigerant for the purpose.
