visit to Alsorg, Gurugram.

Under their guidance, I, Richa Jha 21RM969 have gained a deep


understanding on the working of Visual Merchandising in a store . I am
thankful to be able to be a part of this visit, to gather ample information
about the models followed at Alsorg, Gurugram and to be able see the
happening of a store at ground level.

I would also like to extend my thanks to Mr Sunny Kaul for imparting his
valuable time and knowledge to us. He enlightened us with various crucial
information about the peculiarities of the store.

I would also like to communicate my thanks to the Corporate Advisor –


Ms. Manandeep Kaur , the CR’s Akansha, Ashish, Sreehari and
Shreya for their contribution to the industrial visit. Along with them I would
also like to thank my peers for the active involvement and participation
leading to an informative visit to the centre.

This was a great learning experience for us to see the internal workings
of a store and to draw learning from an active environment corelating it
with what we learn in class.

OBJECTIVE OF VISIT

BIMTECH organized a visit for RM-21-23 to Alsorg, Gurugram. The visit


to this store was organized for the students to learn about the visual
merchandising involved in the working of a high end furniture and interior
design store. We ought to know about the ground work needed to be done
for a store like this to work in the optimum way.

We learnt about the how the store had bifurcated amongst its categories
and see the process it follows starting from product placement to
storytelling to 5 senses provided by the store.

We were expected learn about the different process the employees


practice to ensure readiness and adornment of product following all the
different ways the categories for placement was ought to be done.

We were expected to learn about the different level from where the team
hands operated by different people of various department from Visual
Merchandiser, Designer, Marketing team, Sales team etc. and relate on
how thing work in real time.

have a manufacturing factory in Gurgaon, India, that spans 2,25,000 square feet.

Alsorg meticulously crafts and exhibits beautiful, well-made, immaculate, and
robust furniture. The usage of fixtures, chandeliers, and other products to provide
a thorough overview of how a room would be designed or how the furniture will
look in the space was also noted..

Retail Spaces
These retail areas have been carefully crafted to appeal to affluent shoppers.

details was done based on the store's tastes and a conversation with the Alsorg
design team.

Luxury Hotel
These luxury hotels are furnished with high-end furniture that was created
specifically for these luxury hotels in India by Alsorg.

Alsorg Gurgaon

Projects that have won awards Being acknowledged for its proficiency in design
