Flying Squirrel Models

Thank you for inquiring about the Gemini V2 Kit manufactured Flying Squirrel Models.
This kit was designed by Spike Webb of Bearospace Industries. All the plans and build
documents for both the scratch and kit versions are available from him at
bearospaceindustries.com for $15 USD.

Gemini V2 is a large aircraft with a 10.5 ft wingspan. It requires a lot of material. The kit
includes 48 sheet panels of laser cut balsa and birch plywood parts. It comes in three
separate kits so that in the event that a major component is unrecoverably damaged, it can
be purchased separately.

The Fuselage and Tail Feather kits are complete with all wood parts to complete these
aircraft components. The Wing Kit is a short kit. It is supplied with all the laser cut parts,
but not the off the shelf available material like sheets of balsa and CF parts. This is done
to make the overall cost of materials cheaper for the you by allowing these materials to
be purchased directly rather than having Flying Squirrel add material handling costs and
the costs of shipping for these material to us and then back to you.

In addition, there is an option available for the Wing Kit which reduces the dihedral angle
from 7 to 3 degrees. Also in this option is lower profile motor pylon with a lower motor
thrust line. These parts replace parts already supplied with the standard kit.
