your work, please read this manual carefully before using the instrument.
一、Instrument overview
The ADMT mobile phone water detector is the world's first Internet of Things
instrument jointly developed by our company and the Guilin Institute of Hydrogeology
and Exploration. After more than 40 years of research and development and exploration,
the complex data calculation method is passed through the mobile phone (or tablet).
The operation is realistic, achieving the effects of automatic mapping, cloud storage,
online and expert consultant communication, and using the probe to complete the
measurement, the measurement can be completed without pulling the wire. Using the
mobile phone Bluetooth to connect with the instrument can be measured, and the MN input
can use the traditional MN cable or wireless sensor to input the measurement, all
without the need to pull the cable, go and stop to measure; no U disk, no detection
button, mobile phone Automatic color map, online communication with expert consultants,
upload cloud data for permanent storage.
The ADMT mobile phone water detector has obtained a number of invention patents
(patent number: 201320054153.5, 201120214308.8, 201120567915.2, 201320303919.9). In

particular, the field source correction function of the invention patent "physical
method and measuring device for earth electromagnetic field source correction"
201310205318.9 solves the shortcomings of inconsistent and constant variation of
natural electric field source intensity.
In the practice of nearly 40 years, extensive comparison with manual DC

instrumentation has obtained very good anomaly curve consistency, and in some areas
where the grounding conditions are not very good, a more realistic anomaly curve than
the manual DC method is obtained. . It is widely recognized and supported by our
customers.
二、Main features of the instrument
1、 automatic mapping: mobile phone operation measurement is completed automatically;
2、no need to pull the line: go, stop can be measured, you can use the wireless probe
to solve the pain of the pull line;
3、 consultant exchange: through the mobile APP direct expert consultant exchange
analysis, you can upload live photos, data, renderings, etc., real-time online
communication;
4、no need U disk: data is stored directly in the phone, you can also upload the cloud
permanently saved or downloaded to the computer;
5、the screen size of the choice: operate the phone (or tablet) screen, performance
is completely their own, how big the screen is (5 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch, 10.1 inch
arbitrarily selected);
6 、 Data processing is more reasonable: the “field source correction” function

(invention patent number: 201310205318.9) has been further strengthened, and the
project has also applied for more than 20 patent technologies;
7 、 High-precision measurement: high-performance amplifier and imported core

components, high-performance AD converter, resolution up to 0.001mV, ± 2%
high-precision measurement, so that the instrument can be better used in
high-resistance areas, get Deeper, better measurement results.
8、perfect anti-jamming technology: high-performance wave-limiting circuit, the power

frequency 50HZ suppression capacity >100dB, suitable for various geological
environments.
9、The cloth is extremely flexible: the instrument adopts a variety of cloth pole
measurement methods, including the traditional electrode method of the electric method
and the original cloth method to better solve the problem of the orientation, depth
and thickness of the ore body.
三、Introduction to the working principle of the instrument
The ADMT mobile phone electric water finder uses the natural electromagnetic field
of the earth as the working field source to study the electrical structure inside the
earth. According to the principle that different frequencies of electromagnetic waves
have different skin depths in the conductive coal, the surface is measured from high
frequency to The low-frequency Earth electromagnetic response sequence studies the
difference in electrical variation of geological bodies at different depths in the
subsurface and determines the occurrence of underground geological bodies.
1、Electromagnetic wave propagation theory, Helmholtz equation
Ground electromagnetic waves are sent to the ground, and the propagation of electromagnetic
waves in the earth and soil follows the Maxwell equation. If it is assumed that most of the
subterranean geotechnical soil is non-magnetic and is uniformly conductive macroscopically, there
is no charge accumulation, then the Maxwell equation can be simplified to:

In the electromagnetic frequency range measured by the ADMT series of natural

electric field geophysical instruments (0.1 Hz to 5 kHz), the displacement current

the polarization of the incident field and is related to the earth resistivity and the frequency of the

3、Skin depth

waves is related to frequency and resistivity. The frequency is certain, the higher
the resistivity, the greater the penetration depth, the higher the resistivity, and
the lower the frequency, the greater the penetration depth.
四、Main purpose of the instrument
ADMT mobile phone electric water detector is an instrument specially developed for exploration
and development of water resources. It is convenient, fast and accurate. It is the most economical
and effective means, and can be widely used in underground water, geothermal, etc. Detailed
investigation and census exploration of natural energy to improve the success rate of drilling water

6.1、App installation
6.1.1、Installation Environment
Android mobile phone and Android tablet with Android system version ≥ 4.4 and above with
Bluetooth function, this software download needs to connect to the network to ensure that there is
wireless or wifi network available.
6.1.2、Download installation method
A：Scan the QR code below (Figure 2);

Go to the APP download interface (Figure 3) and click on "Secure Download". After
the download is complete, enter the installation interface (Figure 4); click "Install"
to complete the APP installation (Figure 5);

B、Download Installation Method 2: Open "Tencent Application Po" (Figure 7), search
for "Aidu Exploration", click to download.

C, download and install mode 3: Open the staff's share link (Figure 9),
enter the interface of Figure 10, click "earn 180 points, get free water meter

6.2、APP main interface operation instructions
Open the app, enter the APP login interface (Figure 13), enter the phone number,
and get the verification code.

A mobile phone number can only get up to 10 verification codes within one day, otherwise
the system will not send the verification code.

When the app is opened, the APP system will pop up the following prompt:
1) Check if there is a version update;
2) Check if the core data is updated. If there is an update, update the corresponding data.
6.2.1、Taobao Mall
Click on “Taobao Mall” to enter the Taobao store (Figure 15). The store displays
all the instruments of the company, and customers can purchase suitable instruments
according to their needs.

6.2.2、My purse
Click "My Wallet" to enter the wallet interface. On this interface, customers can
check "Ai Du Points".
"Aidu points" role:
1) When you click on the expert analysis, you need to use "Aidu points";
2) When purchasing instruments or accessories, you can use the “Aidu Points”
to deduct some cash.
Earning methods for “Ai Duo Points”: improve data, purchase instruments,

recommend customers to purchase instruments, and customers can download and register,
share test data, and share cases through your share app link.
Click "←" in the upper left corner of the interface to return to the previous interface.

6.2.3、Operational video
Click “Operation Video” to enter the interface as shown in Figure 17. The
customer can watch the field operation video of the instrument on this interface.

6.2.4、Connecting device
Before connecting the device, please open the phone Bluetooth, click “Connect
Device”, the device connection interface will pop up (as shown in Figure 18), click
“Connect Device” to enter the interface of Figure 19.
(Note: Please connect the machine two minutes after the host is turned
on)

At this point, the APP will automatically search for the host. After the
search is successful, the host model will be displayed on the APP. Click on the host,
and the figure 20 will pop up. Click OK to pop up the interface of Figure 21, enter
the PIN code (6666), click OK to complete the phone and host pairing. (To prevent
pairing, please turn off other instruments Bluetooth).

6.2.5、folder
Click on “Folder” to view all the files. All the data measured by the app and
the demo data preset by the app are automatically arranged according to the time added
to the system (Figure 22). Click “←” in the upper left corner of the interface to
return to the previous interface, and click “ ” in the upper right corner to search
for files.
Through the file list entry, you can enter the corresponding folder, which contains
the measured data file and the picture file after drawing (Figure 23). By default,
when the system has wifi available, it will automatically synchronize the data to the
server. In the non-wifi environment, manual operation is required. When clicking the
file status button at the far right of each entry, the corresponding operation can
be performed. The file status is:
A) Pending upload：，Click to upload the corresponding data.
B) To be downloaded: ，Click to perform download status on the corresponding data
C) Click to perform download status on the corresponding data

：，Indicates that the file has been downloaded to the local, click No response

Long press the data file to be processed, and the long pressed file is highlighted
and enters the multi-select state (as shown in Figure 24). In the multi-select state,
the delete and export operations can be performed on the selected item.
A) Delete:
Local delete: keep cloud data, delete local data

Cloud deletion: keep local data, cloud data deletion
B）Export: The selected data or picture can be transferred to WeChat or QQ by "Export".

6.2.6、invite friends
Click "Invite Friends" to enter the interface of Figure 25, click "" to
pop up the following interface (Figure 26), you can share the APP link to friends and
earn Ai Duo points.

6.2.7、Personal information
Click “Personal Information” to enter the following interface (Figure

27), click “Modify Data” to improve personal information (Figure 28), improve the
data by more than 80%, and customers can get 20 “Aidu Points”.

6.2.8、Expert analysis
Click “Expert Analysis” to enter the following interface (Figure 29). In this
interface, you can query the expert analysis.

6.2.9、New measurement
Click “New Measurement” to enter the measurement interface, input the line name (can
be Chinese, digital, English input), MN spacing (such as electromagnetic sensor, can
not be input), measuring point increment, remarks and other information (Figure 30).

After inputting the measurement line, click OK to enter the measurement
interface (Figure 31, 32).

1) "Measurement": When the connection is completed, click on the measurement, the

instrument starts to collect data (as shown in Figure 33); if the host is not connected
to the probe or there is no connection electrode MN or MN open circuit, it will prompt
error code 1 (Figure 34), this Please check the line. (Note: Since the instrument is
intelligently selected, in order to ensure accurate measurement, please delete the
data and re-measure it during the first measurement)

2) “Drawing”: When the number of measuring points exceeds 6 points, click on the
drawing and the instrument will automatically display the color picture (Fig. 35).

A) Save: Click Save to save the graphic to your phone.

B) Expert analysis: Click on the expert analysis, go to the interface of
Figure 36, select the expert, click Next, go to the interface of Figure 37, in this
interface you can fill in the detailed information about this measurement in the
"Description Text", in the "picture" Upload photos of field work areas (up to 9 can
be uploaded) for expert analysis.

七、Wiring diagram and working method in field work
7.1、Wiring principle
1、Measuring the wire layout should be the direction of the vertical anomaly
2、The measuring leads should be as far as possible away from the high-voltage
power lines and telephone lines. When not far away, the wiring should be as parallel
as possible.
3、If the wire is immersed in water during wiring, a leak check is required.
4、As far as possible, ensure that the M and N electrodes are on the same plane.

7.2、Field work wiring diagram
The field wiring of the instrument:

The mobile APP operator is responsible for the host and the M electrode, and the
other person is responsible for the N pole, and the measuring point is at the midpoint
of the electrodes M, N.

The ADMT series wireless sensor does not need to pull the MN line when it is used with
the instrument. It directly uses the electromagnetic wireless sensor signal input,
and the measuring point is directly below the sensor. The wireless sensor has various
types of options, and the product frequency range is 0.001HZ to 30KHZ, the frequency
range is different, its length and weight are different, and the sensor accuracy is
different.

7.3、work method
This method is mainly used to confirm the position, width and judgment depth of
geological anomalies.
Measurement work method 1 is as shown:

After the instrument is turned on, connect the instrument as shown in Figure 44,
insert the M and N measuring electrodes into the ground, and start sampling. After
the sampling of this point is finished, the M and N electrodes are moved in the same
direction at a certain point distance, and the second measurement point sampling
measurement is performed (shown in FIG. 48). And so on, until the entire profile
measurement is completed.

After the instrument is turned on, connect the instrument as shown in Figure 46,
place the sensor on the ground, and start sampling. After the sampling of this point
is finished, the sensor is moved in the same direction at a certain point distance,
and the second measurement point sampling measurement is performed (shown in FIG. 49).
And so on, until the entire profile measurement is completed.
When working in the field, in order to ensure the accuracy of the data, you should
pay attention to the following points when measuring:
(1) Determine the direction of the line by using the compass or the benchmark
three-point line, and try to ensure that the line is straight.
(2) Determine the distance between M and N (usually 10-20 meters) by electrode line
measurement method and other factors of the electric field signal in the visual area,
and maintain a uniform distance on the same line; maintain the probe by sensor The
direction is the same.

(3) The measurement points are the midpoints of M and N, and the same pitch is maintained
on the same line.
(4) Try to keep the grounding conditions of the M N electrode as consistent as possible.
7.4、Precautions for using the instrument
1. After the work is finished, please turn off the power to avoid saving power.
2. The instrument should be kept in charge during transportation or use to avoid the
equipment being subjected to severe vibration or impact and water ingress.
3. After the end of each day's work, the surface of the instrument should be removed
and kept clean and placed in a dry and ventilated place.
4. After the measuring electrode is used, the surface of the soil should be removed
and kept clean.
5, the instrument casing is attached to the tamper-evident seal, please do not tear
open, can not be restored after tearing. We will not issue a warranty.
八、Field test example
Case 1 is the application of using our ADMT-300S water detector to find water in a certain place
in Linyi, Shandong.
In the measurement, the measuring line has a pole distance of 20 meters and a point distance of
3 meters, and the measuring line is arranged in the north-south direction (Fig. 50).

The figure below shows the contour map of the measurement (Fig. 51). The ordinate
represents the depth of detection and the abscissa represents the point.

According to the resistivity of groundwater, it shows the characteristics of

low-resistance anomaly compared with surrounding rock. In Figure 51, blue indicates
the area of low-resistance anomaly, that is, the area where groundwater is likely to
exist. From the figure, from the 13th to the 16th, The low-resistance anomaly reaction
was obvious at a depth of about 150 meters. After drilling, the well actually drilled
145 meters and the actual water output reached 20 tons/hour.
Fig. 52 shows the data using the surfer9 software, and the result of the mapping
is the same as that of the mobile version, and the abnormal position display is
basically the same.
Case 2 is the use of our company admt-400s in a known test in Pingyi County, Linyi
City; the well is 190 meters of water, the aquifer is about 3 meters thick, 30 square
meters per hour, 220 meters end hole.

When measuring, the direction: near north-south direction; measuring point distance:
1 meter; total number of measuring points: 28; field test photos are as follows:

The data collected by the instrument (Fig. 54) is processed by “Aidu Intelligent Data
Processing Software”. Figure 55 is a vertical sectional view, where the abscissa
indicates the measuring point number, the ordinate indicates the depth, and the blue
area is the low resistance. In the anomalous area, where groundwater may exist, it
can be seen from the figure that the 23rd point is the best drilling point, and there
is an aquifer underground at the 3rd point, about 63 meters. From the analysis in the
figure, the test results are consistent with the actual drilling situation.

After the collected data is processed by "field source correction" and "depth
calculation" in "Aidu Intelligent Data Processing Software", the depth data is saved,
and then processed by SURFER9 (Fig. 56: contour map), the abnormality is reflected.
