The Curricular Experience of Business Intelligence and Big Data corresponds to the area of Specialty Studies, is of a theoretical - practical
nature and of a mandatory nature. Its purpose is to generate in the student the necessary knowledge for the adequate analysis of available
historical data relevant to the organization, as well as information from different sources (internal or external) through the application of

Business Intelligence and Big Data technologies, such as a strategic tool for the achievement of business objectives. Defines the architecture
of business intelligence and big data information systems (Hadoop / MapReduce, NoSQL Databases, Extended SGBDRs). Apply Business
Intelligence; processes, methods and tools. Develop Data Warehouse Technology, Data Mining, Web Mining. Use the new Big Data Tools
for the analysis of Quality statistics such as; Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.

● The vicesimal rating scale is used; the minimum passing grade is 11.
● Only in the final average the fraction equivalent to or greater than 0.5 will be rounded to the next higher digit.
● 30% of unexcused absences disable the student to take the final assessment.
● Absences from unexcused practices or exams will be scored (00).
● The student who for some reason did not give one of the partial exams will be able to give them in the period of lagged exams, in case
of non-attendance will be scored with a grade of zero (00).
● The student will have the right to take only one examination, regardless of whether they are substitute or lagged.
