● Changes in the Family system:

○ Trans families will consist of several subjects depending on the month when the subject is
scheduled; families will not be per subject anymore:

*This is based on 2023’s academic calendar from last year and will still be subject to change once our schedule will be released by the admin. Final family
divisions and assignments will be released after the Academic Orientation at the Lukan Summer Camp.
● Changes in responsibilities:
○ Trans Secretaries (TS)
■ Each family will have 2 TS; responsibilities will be shared between the 2 of them
■ BOTH will still be EXEMPTED in making of transes
■ Responsibilities:
● Combined Trans Scheduler and Format Checker responsibilities as written in the
Trans Handbook
● Head of the family who will delegate the tasks (e.g. megatranses, cleaning, tips,
etc.) and will manage its members
● 1 will be assigned as the ‘point person’ of the family and will be in direct
communication with the Trans Moms, Batch officers, LOs and Trans Secretaries
of other families
● Monitoring of the materials uploaded by the TGs on the batch drive and will
inform the TG/s assigned in the instance where in lecture materials and/or
recordings were not uploaded on time
● Monitoring of the trans tracker (whether or not it is being filled up)
● Will coordinate to the Batch Treasurer/VP Finance the total amount of fines
incurred by the TGs and the THs at the end of each semester based on the trans
tracker
○ Trans Groups (TG)
■ Additional responsibilities:
● Uploading of lecture materials and/or recordings will STRICTLY be the TG’s
responsibility (Not the LO anymore)
● Only the TG leader will be given ‘editing’ access to the folders in the batch drive
and will be tasked to upload the lecture materials and/or recordings
● Penalties:
○ Penalties for this year’s transes will be collected by the Batch Treasurer/VP Finance via GCASH or
any online bank transfer and will be used as funds for Community Medicine rotation in our
Clerkship.
○ Penalties with monetary equivalent:
■ Late Submission of Transes: (This is based on our Trans Handbook)
○ Rules during Weeks with Examinations and Deadlines:
■ Extensions will be ALLOWED as long as both the Trans Secretaries and the Trans
Moms allowed the extension
○ Late upload of materials and/or recordings:
■ Uploading the lecture PPT and audio recording after 10 PM =
Php10.00/member/day (Php 30.00/TG/day)
○ ‘Poorly’ made transes = Return of transes

● Applications:
○ Members of the families will be chosen depending on these 3 criteria:
1. First-come-first-serve
2. Qualifications/Undergraduate course
3. Previous work ethics
○ EVERYONE is encouraged to apply; LOs can choose the family and the role they want to be
regardless of the subject they are assigned but will be prioritised if they apply to their assigned
subject
○ Start of applications will be on Aug 2, 2021 (Monday), 10:00 AM until Aug 9, 2021 (Monday),
10:00 PM
■ Those who will miss the deadline of applications can still apply but will not have a chance
to choose the family they’ll go to and will be assigned to the family that needs more
members
