Information about clearing your preliminary credential while working at CalCA


You can clear your Preliminary Credential while teaching at CalCA!
After completion of your teaching credential program, you received your
Preliminary Teaching Credential.

The next step is to Clear your Preliminary credential - this must be done within 5
years of earning your preliminary credential. Teacher at CalCA are qualified to
complete Induction classes through CSU Fullerton and/or
UC San Diego extension!
Step 1: Select your Program

Step 4: Begin Induction Courses
You will receive emails from your school with start dates and course information.
Every course and class is different

Step 5: What do I do at the end of the Semester?
Once your FINAL grades are entered, save a PDF printout of your
coursework and final grade
