Greetings!

Sir, I hope you’re doing well. I have applied for a job at F & T Investments as an Analyst training
program. I was approached by a person at HR and was asked to get a recommendation letter from any
of my professor. I would greatly appreciate it if you could write a letter of recommendation that would
help me a lot in getting the job.

This is your student syed affan raza whom you had taught investment and portfolio management ( FINC-
423) during the fall of 2018. Among various things learnt in the course, methods of risk and return
analysis has especially fascinated me the most and helped focus to take up as a career.

I have send you my CV so that you can have a look and review it. Im graduating this year with a GPA of
3.5 and have participated in many of the societies events and received awards. Moreover, I have also
gain experience of practical application of my knowledge through many internships during my university
life. I have applied all knowledge in the financial planning of my family after the death of my father.
Through trial and error, have learnt to apply the business knowledge and training into deciding what
stocks or to trade.

Need to receive the letter of recommendation at most by 27 th oct as I’ve been approached by MR.
Fawwad Kaleem from the HR for a second interview on 1 st Nov. I highly appreciate you considering my
