Vision
A Dynamic service unit that provides a responsive program to cultivate academic,
personal/social, and career connections for all students.

Mission
The Guidance and Counseling Office aims to collaborate with the stakeholders to provide
positive environment where all students feel a sense of belonging and connectedness, and to
promote self-awareness and self-expression in students

Objective
 To help student identify their strength and weaknesses
 To help student understand himself better.
 To help student develop a wholesome attitude.
 To help student develop his ability to solve problems that involves personal, social,
learning concerns.

Guidance and Counseling Services

1. Individual Inventory Services

It involves collection, maintenance, and analysis of student information essential
in identifying and providing necessary assistance such as counseling, close monitoring or follow-
up through a variety of Psychometric and Non-psychometric activities.

2. Information Services
To provide information that cater the student’s personal, social, academic and
career needs.
Online transition plan: Tips and other information will be uploaded through Google
classroom.

3. Counseling Services
Seeks to help students learn how to solve their problems. It is designed to address
students' immediate concerns through responsive interventions.

Online transition plan: Online counseling will be made available for the students who needs
assistance in their problems that affects their academic performance

4. Follow-up
A continuous monitoring program designed to evaluate the effectiveness of the
intervention procedures in relation to student progress & adjustments.
Online transition plan: A monthly “kamustahan” session via google meet/zoom or other
social media platforms to monitor the student’s progress and adjustments in this new mode
of learning

5. Referral Services
Collaboration with multidisciplinary team and specialist to ensure that the needs
of the students are met.
Online transition plan: The guidance office set-ups an online referral service for faculties
who wish to refer students who are having problems that affects their academic
performance.
