Hear ye, hear ye!
As the great William Shakespeare said, “All the world’s a stage,” but I know I speak for all
of us when I say, we are thrilled to be back on OUR stage for Something Rotten! I will forever
have an imprint on my heart, as this show marks my first directing experience at PCCA and
I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you! It takes a great team of designers and support
to build a show of this magnitude, and our students and staff have been working around the
clock to bring you a production that we are all proud of. To my cast and crew, I am so
honored to direct each of you. This show has a ton of heart and it is all because of your drive
and dedication. Chloe Moore and Aidan Stern: your time, organization, and attention to
detail have been so appreciated, I couldn’t imagine this show without the two of you. Thank
you to our Stage Managers, Costume Crew, Scenic, Lightning, Prop and Sound departments
as they have worked tirelessly on making this show look and sound incredible! Mrs. McNally,
thank you so much for the countless hours you put in to creating and crafting the gorgeous
choreography – these numbers each come to life because of your direction! Thank you, Mr.
Thomas and Mr. Martin for your time, talent, and patience, and to our private voice
instructors, Ms. Liu, Ms. Eubanks and Mr. Prina – you rock! Your involvement is so
appreciated. Words cannot express my gratitude for the support, encouragement, and
education that my colleagues have given to me during this experience. Thank you Mrs.
Archard, Mrs. Kelley, Mr. Engle and Mr. Hinzman, I am so lucky to work beside each of
you. I would also like to thank Mr. Weston and Mr. Brown for supporting our mission of
live performance and for their constant dedication to our PCCA program! Now, without
further ado… Welcome to the Renaissance!
