Utilizing Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) Seeds to Create Liniment Oil

As we get older, we experienced having headaches, muscle aches, or body pains.

People will use oil liniment to relieve pain and discomfort. In this study, the researchers
would like to formulate and test a liniment oil made from okra (Abelmoschus esculentus)
seeds to treat aches and pain in muscles and joints, such as arthritis, backache, and
sprains, as well as stomach discomfort, migraines, and body calming.

Liniment is used to treat minor aches and pains of the muscles/joints such as arthritis,
backache, sprains This study aims to innovate and utilize okra seeds to help people use
an alternative of buying expensive liniment. Vegetable crops play an important role in
human nutrition and health management in which they are reliable sources of vitamins,
minerals and income. Fresh fruit is a good source of vitamins, minerals, and plant
protein. Rehn and Espig stated that okra contains about 20% edible oil and protein,
while its mucilage is utilized for medicinal purposes.
Okra fruit is a traditional valuable nutrient vegetable that provides a good source of
vitamin C and other vitamins such as vitamin A, B6, K, pyridoxine, and folates, it
contains minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus that help in regulating the
physiological activities in the body.
Okra has a huge potential for enhancing livelihoods in urban and rural areas and it is
also regarded as the powerhouse of valuable nutrients that is low in calories and is fat-
free. Okra fruit also provides significant antioxidant properties, mostly due to their high
content in vitamin C, carotenoids, and flavonoids, as well as therapeutic properties
against diabetes, hyperlipidemia, microbes, ulcers and neurodegenerative diseases.
Historically, okra pods were utilized for various purposes, such as in food, appetite
boosters, astringents, and as an aphrodisiac. Furthermore, okra pods have also been
recommended to cure dysentery, gonorrhea, and urinary complications . Extracts of
young okra pods have also been reported to display moisturizing and diuretic
properties, whereas the seeds of this plant have been reported to possess anticancer
and fungicidal properties .
Recently, okra has been used not only for its nutritional values but, also, for its
nutraceutical and therapeutic properties, owing to the presence of various important
bioactive compounds and their associated bioactivities. This review presents a
summary of the nutritional significance of okra, as well as the possible pharmacological
applications of okra bioactive components, and to explore the possible characteristics
forthe development and formulation of nutraceuticals andfunctional food. In addition,
this review also focuses on the nutraceutical potential of Abelmoschus esculentus for
various therapeutic purposes, as well as to demonstrate the benefit of okra-based
nutraceuticals and their consumption.
Extracting Mango (Mangifera indica) Peels as an Alternative for Making Highlighter Pen

In today’s modern world, almost every product has been commercialized and people sought for
products that are more natural and cheaper instead. The creation of ink with alternative
ingredient to be commercialized is a demand for the artists, calligraphers as well as for the
people. The researcher thinks that Mango has great potentials in having an alternative
permanent marker ink due to its strong tanning color. The researcher decided to test its
effectiveness as an ingredient for permanent marker ink. This study was conducted as an
attempt to discover an alternative source of marker ink, which is safe to users and even to the
environment.
Permanent markers play an important role in writing and in artworks in different ways. It was
designed to create various permanent writings on objects with enormous creative and practical
possibilities. Aside from its use in writing, it is also used in labeling, poster creation and
calligraphy. With infinite use of permanent markers, many did not know that markers have
limitations. Usually, it is a problem for artists and calligraphers to supply ink for the markers they
are using.
Typically, the inks used in most markers are made from synthetic materials like the petroleum
and chemical solvents. These kinds of materials are hazardous especially to the health of the
users and to the environment as well. As been made into dyes, the Mango (Mangifera indica)
can be an alternative ingredient for ink instead of petroleum. The Mango (Mangifera indica) is
native to Southeastern Asia and found all over in the Philippine archipelago. It is a large
deciduous tree which is very easily propagated from seeds or large cuttings. It is known for its
ability to take high polish, which is derived from the trees and its alcoholic tincture that produces
dark red color dye in wood and can be used for tanning.
