BRAKE (FRONT) FRONT BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE(for 4WD and Pre-Runner) REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

HINT:
· Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
· The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

1.REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

Click hereSuspension>TIRE / WHEEL>TIRE AND WHEEL>REMOVAL

2.DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

NOTICE:
Wash off brake fluid immediately if it comes in contact with any painted surface.

3.REMOVE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE 47313A

a. Disconnect the brake line from the front flexible hose with a union nut wrench while holding the front
flexible hose with a wrench.
NOTICE:
· Do not bend or damage the brake tube.
· Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting
point.

b. Remove the 2 clips and front flexible hose.

4.REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL CYLINDER TUBE LH 47343A

a. Using a union nut wrench, remove the front No. 1 wheel cylinder tube LH from the disc brake cylinder
assembly LH.
NOTICE:
· Do not bend or damage the front No. 1 wheel cylinder tube LH.
· Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the front No. 1 wheel cylinder tube
LH from the connecting points.
