A STUDY ON IMPACT OF SALES PROMOTIONS ON

FESTIVAL SEASON

This is where I describe the study and let people know that their participation
is voluntary and that their data are anonymous and confidential.

This questionnaire is of 200 samples.

1) Do you believe Festival offers are more appealing?

Analysis:

From the survey, of 200 respondents, 76.5% says Festival offers are more
appealing in which 45.7% are Males and 53.24% are Females, 23.5% says
Festival offers are NOT appealing in which 42.55% are Males and 40.42%
are Females.

Interpretation:

Most of the Females are attracted to the Festival offers.

Analysis:

From the survey, of 200 respondents, 74% says they availed Festive
offers in which 54.72% says Buy 1 Get 1 offer and 45.27% says Discount
offer, 26% says they have NOT availed Festive offers recently.

Interpretation:

People are availing to the Sales promotion during Festival season and the
most prominence is given to Buy One Get One Offer.

Analysis:

From the survey, of 200 respondents, 43% voted for Flat Discount offers,
47% voted for Buy 1Get 1 offer, 6.5% voted for Exchange offer and 3.5%
for Money-back offer.

Interpretation:

Most of the people opted for Buy 1 get 1 offer when asked the most of the
offers. This represents people are expecting offers for ‘Apparels’ and
FMCG products. For the Automobiles and Brown goods the offers
expected are Exchange offers and Money back offers.
