PHLGA Meeting Minutes

Date: March 23, 2022

Call to Order: Karen Lord conducted the meeting in the absence of
our President, Linda Ward.
In Attendance: Twelve members and one guest.
Approval of the minutes: Paula Hansen moved to approve the
minutes and Chris Fritz seconded. The minutes were approved by a
majority vote.
Treasures Report: Presented by Karen Lord
Operating Fund: 5,123.56
Kactus Kapers: 3,113.21
Cash in Bank 8,236.77
Candy Slover moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Margie
Herberger seconded. Report approved by majority vote.
Kactus Kapers: Presented by Lynn Zeemont:
An email was sent out with the invitation for Kactus Kapers. Our
commitment is needed by May 15, 2022. Another invitation will be
sent out to the other clubs and their price will be different from our
invitation. There will be a 10-stroke differential for this event.

Border: Presented by Margie Herberger:
The next Border tournament will be April 19, 2022, at Painted
Dunes in El Paso, Texas.
Presidents Cup: The President’s Cup is being held on April 21,
2022. We are all encouraged to participate. Jan Callaghan will keep
us current.
Ringers: Presented: Candy Slover.
Candy told us that today was the last day scores would be posted.
Money for the next quarter will be due in April.
Hole in One: Presented by Sylvia Bizzell.
Sylvia reminded us that the monies for the Hole in One are being
held by the Pro Shop. She also told us that we can join at any time.
Playday: Presented by Vicki Hook.
Vicki said that she and the Pro Shop were looking into changing the
game for the game next week.
Advisory Report: Presented by Paula Hansen.
No report was given because there was no Advisory Meeting. It was
noted that there were new sinks and vanities in the bathrooms at
the half-way house.
Jill of the Hill: Chris Fritz
Discussion:
Old Business: Karen told us the New By-Laws are now on the
website. Margie Herberger said that the Kactus Kapers invitation is
also on the website.
Birthdays: Joyce Sartwell, Carla Williams, Vicki Hook, Kate Dunn
Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 p.m.
