NAME OF WORK :- EXTENSION OF PUMP HOUSE, RETAINING WALL, PROVIDING DEWATERING PUMPS, PIPELINE, CATWALKS, ROCK CUTTING AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS JOBS
Providing & Laying Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (Any thickness) including attached pilasters,

level UP TO FLOOR V LEVEL excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement :
Providing and laying in position ready mixed M-25 grade concrete for reinforced cement concrete work using
cement content as per approved design mix manufactured in fully automatic batching plant & transported to site of
work in transit mixer for all leads having continuous agitated mixer, manufactured as per mix design of specified
grade for reinforced cement concrete work including pumping of R.M.C. from transit mixer to site of laying,
14 excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing & reinforcement including cost of admixtures in recommended -
proportions as per IS:9109 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength
& durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (Note :- Cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum.
Less cement used as per design mix (if any) will be recoverable separately. No extra payment against extra cement if
used shall be payable.

Note:
Pump assembly mounted on common base frame on foundations including supplying foundation bolts without
causing damage to the pumps/ foundation and aligning the pump set etc. including completing the piping
connections at all the tie- in-pints of the pump set, completing all the electrical power supply cable connections,
completing all the instrumentation power supply, signal interface cable connections, all complete as per
specifications, drawings and instructions of the site engineer.
46 (1) The rate quoted shall include the const of connecting the pumps to its control panel by a armoured aluminium -
cable of required size including necessary glanding / gland earthing etc. complete. The approximate length of cable
not to exceed 25 m.
(2) It is possible that the pumps are supplied for erection either completely assembled, couple to the drive
and both mounted on common base plate or all in 3 individual parts as a pump assembly, driver and base
plate or as pump assembly and driver mounted on separate base plate with no extra cost.
(3) The pump shall be erected on foundations and levelled with shims and wedges with help of precision levels and
other instruments. the pump and the driver shall then be coupled and aligned. Final alignment shall be done after
all piping connections are made. Shims and wedges where required will be arranged by the contractor.
(4) All necessary commissioning spares shall be included in supply at no extra cost.
(5) The equipment shall be supplied anywhere within the premises and the contractor shall undertake to lead the
same to the foundations at no extra cost.
(6) Painting with approved make, colour, shade including colour coding as per specifications shall be part of rate

(7) Item includes provision of Mill rate fitter, required dial gauges & aligning all the rotary equipment within the
tolerance limits.
(8) Item rate includes provision of Coupling guard for all rotary equipments.

Supply and providing new GI pipe for ring/header/riser for sprinkler/foam system of the tank. Item includes supply
MS, Galvanised, ERW, threaded pipes, heavy class conforming to IS 1239, PART I (upto 150mmdia) including pipeline
fittings of screw type heavy duty like GI couplings and fittings conforming to IS 1239 part II and threaded flanges
53 conforming to ANSI B: 16.5, schedule 150 with appropriate GI nuts, bolts, washers, gaskets, welding nipples for spray -
nozzles etc. Rate is also inclusive of painting the GI pipes with one coat of etch primer and two coats of Synthetic
enamel paint of approved shade. Sprinkler/foam supports, if required to be replaced will be paid separately.
Scaffolding if required, will be paid separately.
Laying of Above Ground pipelines supplied by IOCL on pedestals/sleepers/overhead pipe rack/structures etc. Pipes
in the scope of IOC shall be supplied anywhere within the terminal area and the contractor shall shift the same
to the site of work at no extra cost with all leads and lifts. The pipeline laying includes cutting, bevelling,
positioning, aligning, fit up & welding of pipe lines and setting, fixing the pipe fittings such as elbows,
bends tees, reducers, hydro-test, flushing and cleaning etc., complete with supports as per drawings,
technical specifications, approved QAP/protocol and test procedures given in tender.
Edge preparation for butt weld as per ASME B 31.3 - B16.25, tack welding, and final welding of Fire Hydrant pipelines,
including pipe fittings except flanges of radiographic quality by welders qualified as per ASME Section IX with supply
of approved electrodes/consumables, welding machine, tools & tackles etc. No extra payment will be made
for conducting tests for establishing welding procedure (PQR and WPS) as per ASME Section IX and Third
76 Party Inspection. -
Note:
a. All cutting, laying and fit-up will be done as per approved pipeline route, P&ID diagram, isometric
drawings and welding schedule.
Grinding, bevelling and fit-up will be done as per the welding procedure given in tender.
b. The job includes Blast cleaning (using Slag/ Shots) & painting of the outer surfaces of above ground
pipeline/ fittings/ specials all leads & lifts etc. complete as per enclosed specifications and instructions at site.
c. Pipe length indicated against each size is actual as per drawing. Payment will be made for the actual
quantity executed at site. For purpose of measurement, length of fitting including flanges will be measured along
with pipe line.
d. The primer and paint shall be as per the list of paint manufacturers enclosed.
