1. In my own opinion, beauty means is an elusive. I found it vividly that you can feel like a
queen, feel powerful, strong, and beautiful, through appreciating yourself, both your favorite and
least favorite parts. Having this confidence is not always easy to a woman like me, as a matter of
fact, it can be tremendously hard, especially when our society focuses, weight struggles, and
hundreds of more problems women carry with them every day affect our beauty. Deep down I
believe we all know the power that beauty has a means to confidence. But on a day to day basis,
we tend to forget it. It is so easy to fall into the trap of beauty standards with social media, photo
shopped ads and more. But if we can continue to remind ourselves what beauty really, means to
us not how it gains that confidence and self-powerment to consider ourselves and everyone else
beautiful.
2. I am beautiful because I have a confidence on myself and I believe and you are beautiful too
because you are the one beautiful creations of nature that God made. So definitely, is
everyone/everybody is beautiful. Every creation of God is no doubt perfectly beautiful.

Pagtuon sa Katawan (Focus on the Body)

1. Totoo ba na “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”? Bakit?
 Oo, dahil may kanya-kanya tayong pananaw o pagtingin ng isang salitang
“kagandahan”. May kanya kanya tayong aspeto sa pagtingin ng isang bagay na
iyong nagagandahan o sa isang tao.

2. Ano ang mas gusto mo, maging maganda o maging mayaman? Bakit?
 Maging isang mayaman, dahil lumaki akong mahirap na kailangan kung ahunin
ang aking sarili at pamilya sa kahirapan. Ang kagandahan ay taglay ko na, isang
magandang mabuting loob ay isang napakagandang personalidad sa aking buhay,
Kung mayroon man akong gustong pagandahin ay aking pangarap sa buhay na
magkaroon ng magandang trabaho at makapagtapos ng gusto long kurso,

3. Alin ang mahalaga, kagandahan sa “loob” o kagandahan sa “labas”?

 Ang kagandahan ng loob ay isang mas magandang personalidad bilang isang tao,
dahil ang isang mabuting tao ay may magandang tagumpay sa kanyang buhay.
Ang maging isang matulongin, mapagkumbaba at mapagbigay ay isang
napakandang ugali sa isang tao. Hindi mahirap lapitan ang mga ganitong tao,
huwag lamang sanang abusuhin ng iba. Ang kagandahan sa labas ay isa lamang
salamin sa iyong pagkatao mas mahalaga ang kagandahang loob sa atin.

2 Sekswalidad (Sexuality)
1. Bakit magkakaugnay ang mga larangan ng sekswalidad?
 Malaki ang impuwensiya ng sekswalidad ng tao, babae man o lalaki sa pagkilala
at lubusang pag-uunawa ng sarili. Nagkakaroon ito ng isang mahalagang
kahulugan sa kanyang sarili lalaki man o babae. Ngunit mas mahalagang
tanggapin mo ang iyong sarili at ang iyong sekswalidad na ibinigay sa iyo ng
diyos. At ibigay sa tamang tao sa pagdating ng iyong kasal na nakatakda lamang
sa inyong dalawa bilang isang mag-asawa. Ang sekswalidad o kasarian ay hindi
lamang instrumento sa pagpaparami ng lahi, kundi ito rin ay daan sa paghahayag
nating ng pagmamahal. Dito natin nabibigyang kaganapan at halaga ang
kahulugan ng ating buhay at ng ating pagkatao.

2. Anu-ano ang mga bagay na ikababatid ng sekswal na ugali ng tao? Bigyan

paliwanag.
 The awful confusion about homosexuality in society is made evident by
contrasting the depth and extent of antihomosexual attitudes against the
prevalence of homosexual behavior.

3. Paano maiiwasan ng kabataan ang pagkakaroon ng STDs?

 The best way to prevent teenager from STDs is to advise them to not have any
type of sexual contact with another person.
 To the other that cannot stop to having a sex: Practicing safe sex is only effective
if you do it every time you have an encounter. Use a condom, female condom,
gloves, and other appropriate barriers whenever you engage in intimate contact.
  Take responsibility for your own sexual health and bring your own safe sex
supplies. If your sex life involves anal or vaginal intercourse, always use a
condom to have sex. If your or your partner is at high-risk of STD, be consistent
about barrier use (dental dams, condom) during oral sex as well. But barriers are
not 100% protective against all STDs, but they will greatly reduce your risk.

Quickie Survey Form a group with 6 members. Create your group chat, zoom meet, or any
platform you prefer to use. Meet with your group using your preferred platform to be able to
discuss “Who is Beautiful? Cultural Conceptions and Standards of Beauty of Face and Body”.
Each of you will bring pictures of whoever is beautiful for you to begin discussion. Then
summarize your discussion by answering the following questions:
 1. Do you have similar standards of beauty? What are those?
 Yes, for me the beauty doesn’t have much to do with society. Ideas about what is
beautiful and do what not are largely innate. People are looking for signs of good
physical, I’m sure other also have their own unique perception of beauty, and
some standards from different cultures may even be the same, Perceptions
surrounding body types and beauty standards vary across culture. In this time
period, men faced much higher standard of beauty and perfection than women.
External beauty is something that has been dictated to us by society.

2. Do you have different standards of beauty? What are those?

 Yes! The standard of beauty is essentially a variable standard for me, I have a
high standard when it comes to beauty because beauty is currency system like the
gold standard. I want a sexy and attractive body, a nice face, the skin color and
attractive voice but this is just a definitions that I want when it comes to beauty.
The real beauty to me is that have a good manner, helpful, thoughtful,
independent, and strong, have a dignity on his self.

3. In a nutshell, who is beautiful for you?

 My Mother, she have a great face and have a unique skin tone.

ASYNCHRONOUS ASSESSMENT
Journal Entry: Write a reflective essay that tackles on “My Take” Write 3 significant things
that you have learned about yourself concerning your physical and sexual self. A rubric
assessment tool will be utilized for the evaluation of this activity.

In this module, I’d learned that we have a lot different opinion for what is beautiful means to us.
You will see that beauty is certainly an important feature of these begins at the onset of creation,
because all real creation stems from it is so important to cultivate beauty in your life because it
exists as your closest physical aspects. In the short term beauty is important because society has
put so much emphasis on it being an admired and sought after trait. True beauty is the reflection
of our creator. When we connect with that beauty, it inspires us and helps us to feel good. It is
important for us to reflect on all these aspects of ourselves and the role they play, as the
relationship we have with our sexuality reflects our sexual self-esteem.
