2. Leaflet : has a paper size where very small. At first glance it will look like a

brief profile of a business.

several other important purposes, such as:

• How to Make Leafleat

How to make leaflets can use various applications, such as Microsoft Word,
PowerPoint, Canva , etc. Before that, the things that must be considered in making
leaflets are:

 Define the purpose and theme of the leaflet . The purpose of making leaflets
varies depending on the theme. For example, with a health theme, the goal
is usually to provide instructions and invite readers to adopt a healthy
lifestyle, or an educational theme that aims to convey broad knowledge.
 Determine the goals to be achieved such as, to whom the leaflet will be
distributed. For example , leaflets related to parenting , so the intended
target is mothers who have children. Usually this leaflet will be distributed
after the Posyandu counseling event.
 Determine the main content and brief main ideas to be conveyed in the
contents of the leaflet .
 Collect the subject to be delivered.
 Presents an overview or outline of how to present the information, including
the form or font of the text, the design of the image, and its layout.
 Create a leaflet concept .
 Carry out tests or trials in accordance with the objectives of the leaflet . The
sample leaflet about parenting was tested and shown to several samples of
mothers whether they could understand the information conveyed in the
leaflet .
 Improve concepts that need to be revised and make illustrations according to
the content.
The content in the leaflet must be well understood by the reader. Therefore, leaflets
must pay attention to the principles of compiling information or messages as stated
by Jalaludin Rakhmat, namely:

 Attention (interesting), meaning that the information conveyed must

provide attention (attention) to the reader.
 Need (needs), meaning that it must meet the needs of the reader.
 Satisfaction , meaning that the delivery must be clear and understandable
by the reader.
 Visualization (visualization), meaning that it must be able to provide an
image that is in accordance with the reader's mind. Therefore, the leaflet
requires an image design.
 Action (action), meaning that it can encourage the reader to take an action
after reading the leaflet . Example of a leaflet about global warming, which
aims to make readers more environmentally friendly and save energy
sources.

• Conclusion
