Objective

The objective of the initiative is to integrate the entire project delivery lifecycle across various
functions like Design, SCM, Quality, Safety & Construction.

Roadmap
Step-1
Define the Project Sponsor and Steering Committee: To enable smooth decision making and review
of the project, define a senior management team which will oversee the entire project
implementation from concept to delivery

Step-2
Define Project Team: Since this implementation affects the functioning of various functions, a team
is required to be defined with representation from all the functions who will give inputs, validate work
flows and help in process blue-printing. In addition to this, a SPOC will be required for the complete
project.

Step-3
Define Broad Requirement: The cross-functional team shall make a list of broad requirements which
shall enable them to move from current As-Is process to a To-Be Process. This list needs to be verified
by the Steering Committee to move forward with Software Evaluation. Along with freezing the
requirements, a draft workflow to be defined on which pilot run can be done once the service provider
is shortlisted.

Step-4
Shortlisting of Software Vendors: Basis the requirements, various software service providers to be
evaluated by the team and shortlisting to be done

Step-5
Pilot Workflow: Basis the frozen requirements, various software service providers to be evaluated by
the team and shortlisting to be done. Pilot to be organized on draft workflows

Step-6
Business Requirement Document: Detailed business requirement document to be formed with inputs
from all the functions and the same to be frozen by the steering committee

Step-7
Software Development: Basis detailed requirements, software development schedule to be agreed
upon with the software vendor for a phase wise deployment

Review Mechanism
Weekly review to be held with steering committee. Following agenda to be followed:

• Progress against the plan

• Closure on pending decisions
• Review of target milestone dates
